Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD Strippit M-1225 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The LVD Strippit M-1225 is a 200 kN turret punch press for 1,250 x 2,500 mm (49.2 x 98.4 in) sheet with a 47-station turret. The turret is the reason to look at it: three of the stations are 88.9 mm auto-index stations that accept indexable multitools, and with multitools fitted LVD puts the maximum tool capacity at 68. A job that would need a turret change on a smaller machine can stay loaded.
Material up to 6.35 mm (0.25 in) thick is within the punching specification. The gap between upper and lower turret is 25 mm (1.0 in), which is what allows lances, louvers, embossments and card guides to pass after forming. Hardened guide bushings align punch and die and are keyed in every station, and the operator can replace them without re-machining the turret.
On speed LVD's table gives 850 HPM at 1 mm pitch and 400 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch, with 1700 HPM in marking. Axis positioning is 96 m/min combined, and a tool change takes 0.8 sec. For comparison, the Strippit VX-1225 on the same sheet size is listed at 161 m/min. The ram's hover height is set automatically by Smart Stroke, so the programmer does not manage stroke lengths.
The brush table carries up to 110 kg (243 lb), at reduced speed, and the machine comes with two work clamps; a third programmable clamp is an option. Punching accuracy is ± 0.1 mm with ± 0.05 mm repeatability. Average power draw is 6.7 kW and 0.9 kW on standby, and LVD claims up to 15% less electrical power than comparable machines.
For automation the table lists automatic load/unload, the Compact Tower and robot pick/sort. The Strippit M-1525 is the same machine for 1,524 mm wide sheet.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 47-station turret, with tool capacity rising to 68 when multitools are fitted
- Three 88.9 mm auto-index stations that accept indexable multitools
- 25 mm (1.0 in) feed clearance for lances, louvers and embossments
- Replaceable hardened guide bushings, keyed in every station, avoid re-machining the turret
- 6.7 kW average and 0.9 kW standby power consumption
Limitations
- 850 HPM at 1 mm pitch and 96 m/min positioning are below the 920 HPM and 161 m/min of the Strippit VX-1225
- Brush table load is up to 110 kg (243 lb), and only at reduced speed
- Two work clamps as standard; the third clamp is an option
- No work chute is listed, and the automation list stops at load/unload, Compact Tower and robot pick/sort

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The turret has 47 stations, three of them 88.9 mm auto-index stations (LVD's table writes this as 3D - Ø 88.9 mm). Fitting indexable multitools raises the maximum tool capacity to 68. Every station is keyed to accept shaped tooling.
02
LVD's specification table lists 850 HPM at 1 mm pitch, 400 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch and 1700 HPM in marking, with a combined X-Y positioning speed of 96 m/min and a 0.8 sec. tool change. The headline on the product page quotes 900 hits/min on 1 mm centers, so the two do not agree; the table figure is the one used here.
03
The nominal worksheet is 1,250 x 2,500 mm (49.2 x 98.4 in) and the maximum material thickness is 6.35 mm (0.25 in). The brush table carries up to 110 kg (243 lb) at reduced speed. A steel ball and brush combination table is offered as an option for heavier worksheets.
04
Sheet width only. The Strippit M-1225 takes 1,250 x 2,500 mm sheet and the Strippit M-1525 takes 1,524 x 2,500 mm. Turret, punching force, hit rates, positioning speed, table load and power consumption are identical in LVD's table.
05
The specification table lists the Touch-P controller. Smart Stroke sets the hover height automatically and Smart Clamp detects the clamp positions to keep no-punch zones small. Programming is done in CADMAN-P, part of LVD's CADMAN software suite.
