Price estimate
We do not have a price for the LVD Strippit PX-1530 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The LVD Strippit PX-1530 is the full-size version of LVD's single-head punch press, with a nominal worksheet of 1,524 x 3,048 mm (60.0 x 120.0 in), and the only stand-alone PX model for which LVD marks every MOVit automation system as available. That second point is what sets it apart from the Strippit PX-1225.
The list runs from automatic load/unload and the Compact Tower through Flexible Automation, bin sort and robot pick/sort to the Tower and Warehouse Automation Systems, plus the Extended Tool Magazine. A single-head machine suits unattended running well, because its magazine of 20 indexable stations carries up to 200 tools with multitools and the Extended Tool Magazine keeps 40 more within reach. Tools can be swapped in that magazine while the machine works.
In the cut itself the two PX sizes are alike. Force is 200 kN, thickness capacity 6.35 mm (0.25 in), and LVD lists 910 HPM at 1 mm pitch, 505 HPM at 25.4 mm pitch and 1650 HPM in marking at 130 m/min positioning speed. Tool changes take 1 to 5 sec. Feed clearance is 80 mm (3.1 in), which allows forms and bends up to 75 mm.
Sheet handling is built for the large format. Three CNC work clamps with part pull-out sensors relocate themselves so the full worksheet is usable, a programmable chute passes parts up to 500 x 525 mm (19.7 x 20.7 in), and the brush table takes up to 150 kg (331 lb) at reduced speed. The die retracts between hits to keep the sheet free of scratches.
If laser-cut contours are wanted on the same parts, the Strippit PX-L pairs this punching head with a fiber laser on a 3,050 x 1,550 mm table.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Full 1,524 x 3,048 mm (60.0 x 120.0 in) worksheet with three CNC relocatable clamps
- Every MOVit system is marked as available, from Compact Tower to Warehouse Automation
- 20 fully indexable stations and up to 200 tools with multitools
- Programmable chute for parts up to 500 x 525 mm (19.7 x 20.7 in)
- 80 mm (3.1 in) feed clearance for forms and bends up to 75 mm
Limitations
- Tool change is listed at 1 to 5 sec., a wide range to plan cycle times around
- 200 kN only; LVD's 300 kN machine for this sheet size is the Strippit V30-1530 turret press
- Marking rate of 1650 HPM is slightly below the 1750 HPM of the Strippit V30-1530
- Brush table rating of 150 kg (331 lb) applies at reduced speed

Frequently Asked Questions
01
All of the MOVit systems in LVD's table are marked as available: automatic load/unload (PA), Compact Tower (CT-P), Flexible Automation (FA-P), bin sort, robot pick/sort, Tower Automation System (TAS), Warehouse Automation System (WAS) and the Extended Tool Magazine (ETM). A parts conveyor and rotary bin sort are also listed as options.
02
The nominal worksheet is 1,524 x 3,048 mm (60.0 x 120.0 in) in material up to 6.35 mm (0.25 in). Up to 150 kg (331 lb) can sit on the brush table at reduced speed. Parts up to 500 x 525 mm (19.7 x 20.7 in) leave through the programmable chute.
03
For angular freedom and forming height. Every one of the 20 stations rotates a full 360 degrees and the feed clearance is 80 mm, against 25 mm on the Strippit V30-1530. The Strippit V30-1530 answers with 300 kN of force and a 0.8 sec. tool change. Sheet size is the same on both.
04
LVD lists 6.7 kW average and 0.9 kW in standby operation. An Energy Reduction System cuts consumption automatically when the machine is idle. The combined X-Y positioning speed is 130 m/min.
05
LVD's Touch-P touch screen control, which also manages tool changes from the Extended Tool Magazine. Smart Stroke optimises the ram stroke without operator input. Offline programming is done in CADMAN-P, alongside CADMAN-SDI for drawing import and CADMAN-JOB for job tracking.
