Overview
The Komo Fusion Twin Table is a twin-table router that can also be a twin-spindle one. Komo developed it for buyers who want two tables with one or two spindles, each spindle carrying its own 15-tool changer.
Two models are listed. The 1205 has two tables of 72 in (1,829 mm) x 60 in (1,524 mm), and the 1206 two of 72 in (1,829 mm) x 72 in (1,829 mm). These are wider than the 60 in tables of the Xtreme Twin Table, which is the reason to look at this model first if the blanks are large. Each table has four 1 in (25 mm) part location pins. The gantry travels 175 in (4,394 mm) across both tables and Z travel is 11 in (279 mm).
With one spindle the machine works as a pendulum: cut on the left, load on the right, then swap. With the optional second spindle the two heads can work at once, and tool capacity doubles from 15 to 30. Komo sizes the dust interface for that case at 9 in (229 mm) diameter for 2 spindles, with a recommended 900 cfm per spindle. The standard spindle is 18 hp (13.2 kW), four-pole and fan cooled, with an HSK 63F taper and up to 24,000 rpm.
Traverse rates are 3,150 ipm (80 m/min) in X, 2,300 ipm (58.5 m/min) in Y and 900 ipm (22.7 m/min) in Z. Acceleration is 83 in/sec², well below the 205 in/sec² of the single-table Fusion XL. Among the options Komo lists a different table arrangement, a single 144 in x 60 in table or 48 in and 96 in x 60 in tables, for shops whose work does not split evenly in two.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Two tables of 72 in (1,829 mm) x 60 in (1,524 mm) or 72 in (1,829 mm) x 72 in (1,829 mm)
- One spindle as standard, two as an option, each with a spindle-mounted 15-tool changer
- Aggregate-capable tool changers, 30 tools in total with the second head
- X traverse of 3,150 ipm (80 m/min) along the 175 in (4,394 mm) gantry travel
- Optional single 144 in x 60 in table or 48 in and 96 in x 60 in table split
Limitations
- Acceleration is 83 in/sec², against 205 in/sec² on the Fusion XL
- Z travel is 11 in (279 mm)
- Komo's two figures for the Y travel of this model do not agree with each other, so that row is left out here and should be confirmed
- The second spindle that makes simultaneous cutting possible is an option
- Tools are limited to 5 in (127 mm) in length

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Table depth. The 1205 has two tables of 72 in (1,829 mm) x 60 in (1,524 mm) and the 1206 two tables of 72 in (1,829 mm) x 72 in (1,829 mm). Komo lists the same gantry travel of 175 in (4,394 mm) and the same Z travel of 11 in (279 mm) for both.
02
One Hiteco or HSD spindle is standard and two are optional. Each spindle has a 15-tool changer mounted on it, so the maximum tool capacity is 30 with the optional second head. The standard spindle is rated 18 hp (13.2 kW) and runs up to 24,000 rpm with an HSK 63F taper.
03
Komo lists a configuration option of a single 144 in x 60 in table, or tables of 48 in and 96 in x 60 in, in place of the two equal tables. That lets a full-length sheet be machined on a machine otherwise set up for pendulum work.
04
The interface is 9 in (229 mm) in diameter for 2 spindles, and Komo recommends a volume of 900 cfm per spindle. Air blast at the tool is a listed feature for chip evacuation and cooling, and the vacuum system has a low vacuum sensing interface.
