Overview
The Jainnher JHA-2003CNC is a small CNC angular cylindrical grinder. Its wheel head approaches the work at 60° instead of square on, which lets one wheel grind a diameter and the shoulder beside it in a single infeed. Capacity matches the plunge-type JHP-2003CNC: 200 mm (7.9 in) of swing, 300 mm (11.8 in) between centers and 80 kg (176 lb).
On a straight plunge grinder a shoulder is ground with the side of the wheel, which burns easily and wears the wheel's corner. An angular wheel is dressed with two faces, one for the diameter and one for the shoulder, and both cut on their periphery. The result is a square, clean corner with size and length held together. That is why angular machines are used for bearing journals with thrust faces, tool shanks and valve parts.
