The Jainnher JHP-4010CNC is the largest CNC plunge cylindrical grinder Jainnher lists: 400 mm (15.7 in) of swing and 1,000 mm (39.4 in) between centers. It shares its bed and its 8,080 kg (17,813 lb) fully enclosed weight with the JHP-3510CNC and adds swing.
At this size chuck work becomes as likely as work between centers, and the work head matters. It turns at 10 to 500 rpm from a 1.5 kW (2.0 hp) motor and swivels 90° counter-clockwise and 30° clockwise, so a face or a steep taper can be presented to the wheel.
