Overview
The HOLZ-HER EVOLUTION 7405 Connect is the EVOLUTION vertical machining centre prepared for connector joinery. On top of the four-edge formatting of the EVOLUTION 7405, it machines the pockets and grooves for Lamello P-System connectors, on all four edges of a panel and in the X and Y directions.
The hardware behind that is in the technical data table. A tool changer is standard here: a pick-up system with a magazine for 6 tools, plus a single-unit magazine that pivots in the X/Y direction for the special angle gear with HSK chuck, which HOLZ-HER counts as a seventh changer location. The tool sets supplied are an angle gear for the Lamello P system, a Clamex cutter adapter and a 4-axis Clamex tool set. Tool sets for the standard and XL drilling heads are options.
Software differs too. This variant is listed with CAMPUS V7 CAD/CAM software and NC-HOPS, including the aCADemy module and Cabinet Control Base; an office license and Cabinet Control Pro are extras. A macro for Clamex pockets is part of the Connect package. Dowel holes and Cabineo connectors are covered by the included macros as well, so the choice of connector stays open.
