How much does the Hedelius TILTENTA 7-3600 NEO EL cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Hedelius TILTENTA 7-3600 NEO EL that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Hedelius TILTENTA 7-3600 NEO EL pairs a side loading hatch with 3,600 mm (141.7 in) of X travel. Hedelius says the machine expands its range of applications in two ways: automation loads and unloads the left-offset NC rotary table from the left-hand side, and the long axis remains available for long parts and large-format workpieces.
Think of it as two machines in one enclosure. At the left end sits a 5-axis cell: a rotary table with a Ø 700 mm faceplate for 800 kg (1,764 lb), served by a swivelling spindle that tilts from -98° to +98°, and fed through the hatch by a pallet system or robot. To its right runs a fixed table, 3,840 x 700 mm in total clamping area and good for 3,000 kg (6,614 lb), on which the operator can machine a long beam or plate during the day.
Vertical Z travel is 735 mm on the EL and 800 mm with the spindle horizontal. X is 3,600 mm vertical and 3,030 mm horizontal; Y is 700 mm. No pendulum operation is listed for this variant. The spindle distance is 20 to 755 mm.
For the cutting itself the data sheet lists three spindles, 22 kW and 29 kW at 14,000 rpm in SK40 / BT40 and 35 kW at 18,000 rpm in HSK A63. The 45-place magazine is marked as not for EL, which leaves theoretical capacities of 115 to 309 tools, a sensible range for unmanned work. Hedelius's page speaks of unmanned night shifts and weekend running for automated production of small and medium series. At 15,700 kg (34,612 lb) this is the heaviest TILTENTA 7.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Through a side loading hatch and an NC rotary table offset to the left. Hedelius states that this allows an automation system to load and unload the machine efficiently from the left-hand side, with an interface to manufacturer-independent automation.
02
Long parts. Hedelius notes that the generous X travel path of 3,600 mm makes the machine ideal for machining long parts and large-format workpieces. The fixed table has a clamping area of 3,840 x 700 mm and a table load of 3,000 kg.
03
X 3,600 mm with the spindle vertical and 3,030 mm horizontal, Y 700 mm, and Z 735 mm vertical or 800 mm horizontal. Feeds are 40 m/min on X, Y and Z, and the positioning accuracy is A=6 µm/1,000 mm to ISO 230-2.
04
The data sheet row reads 45 / 115 / 160 / 225 / 309 with a footnote that the 45 is not for EL. That leaves the larger magazines for this variant. Tools may be 330 mm long, 5 kg, and 75 mm in diameter with every place occupied.
