We do not have a price for the Hedelius FORTE 11-2600 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Hedelius FORTE 11-2600 is a 3-axis travelling column machining centre built around a wide table: 1,100 mm (43.3 in) of Y travel against 2,600 mm (102.4 in) of X and 1,005 mm of Z. Hedelius says the series expands the FORTE line with that Y travel, and recommends the machine for chipping solid parts or for machining several small parts at once.
Both uses come from the table shape. The clamping area is 3,080 x 1,100 mm with nine 18 mm T-slots at 125 mm spacing, so vices and fixtures can stand in two or three rows instead of a single line. Table load is 4,000 kg (8,818 lb). For a single large block the same depth means the cutter reaches all of a plate more than a metre wide without re-clamping.
Unlike the SK50 machines of similar size, the FORTE 11 stays with 40-size tooling and gains a bigger magazine from it: 65 tools as standard in a magazine that travels with the column, with a double gripper preselecting the next tool. Chip-to-chip time is ca. 13 s. Standard mount is SK40, HSK A63 is optional, and Hedelius describes the liquid-cooled motor spindle as available up to 50 kW. The data sheet lists 22 kW and 117 Nm, 37 kW and 185 Nm, 35 kW at 18,000 rpm, and 50 kW with 217 Nm at 15,000 rpm.
Pendulum operation is given as 1,025 x 1,025 mm. Feed force is 27,000 N. The machine weighs 19,000 kg (41,887 lb) and is 4,230 / 3,940 mm wide for transport, noticeably wider than its travel figures suggest.
