How much does the Hartford Aero-436B cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Hartford Aero-436B that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
With a 4,000 x 3,100 mm (157.5 x 122.0 in) table and 3,600 mm (141.7 in) of Y travel, the Hartford Aero-436B is the wider of the two four-metre gantry type 5-faced machining centers in the Aero series. X travel is 4,000 mm (157.5 in).
One line of its spec table differs from the rest of the family. Z travel is printed as 1,100 mm with 1,200 mm optional, where the other five-faced Aero models, the Aero-432B among them, show 1,000 mm. Whether that is a real difference or a slip in the table is worth a question to Hartford if Z height is critical.
Width is the practical gain over the Aero-432B, whose table is 4,000 x 2,700 mm (157.5 x 106.3 in). Parts over three metres across are possible here: large stamping dies, mould frames for bumpers and panels, wide machine bases. The table rating is 5,000 kg/m² on both.
For side faces the machine takes a universal head, a 90 degree head or an extension head from an automatic changer. The spindle is #50, a gear head at 6,000 rpm with 8,000 rpm optional, and Hartford offers its i-Tech hybrid 10,000 rpm spindle, which has a double cooling cycle for motor and spindle.
