Price estimate
We do not have a price for the BLM Group LT14 FIBER that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Three spindles hold the work on the BLM Group LT14 FIBER, a fiber tube laser for large profiles from 1" to 14" in diameter and up to 67 lbs/ft (100 kg/m). Tubes, beams and heavy profiles stay supported through every stage of machining, with the clamping matched to thickness, diameter and material.
The source row is unusual. It reads "5 kW, 6+6 kW (Fiber)", and BLM describes a multi-fiber laser source that reduces cutting times on thin materials and gives higher quality on thicker ones. The head is the Tube Cutter 3D, so weld bevels on structural sections are within its scope.
Lengths are on a structural scale as well. The front chain loader is listed at 41 - 54 ft (12.5 - 16.5 m) and does not load automatically below 12.5 ft (3.8 m). The front chain unloader comes in four lengths: 21 - 28 - 41 - 54 ft (6.4 - 8.5 - 12.5 - 16.5 m). BLM's layout drawing shows the 12.5 m / 12.5 m (41 / 41 ft) arrangement, which is a starting point for judging the building length before any space for handling material is added.
End-of-bar waste is listed as 0 ft with end bar cutting. In “zero scrap” mode the tail carriage detaches so that the end of the bar can be cut and used. On sections this heavy, that is steel a shop would otherwise buy and discard.
Next to the LT12, this machine carries more bar weight, 67 lbs/ft against 41.6 lb/ft, and offers a longer loader. Changes of diameter, thickness and section are fully automatic, with no retooling.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Three spindles support tubes, beams and heavy profiles up to 67 lbs/ft (100 kg/m) through all stages of machining
- Tube ranges from 1" to 14" in diameter, with a Tube Cutter 3D head
- Multi-fiber laser source: reduced cutting times on thin materials, higher quality on thicker ones
- “Zero scrap” mode: the tail carriage detaches to cut the end of the bar, with minimal waste listed as 0 ft
- Changes in diameter, thickness and section are fully automatic, without retooling
Limitations
- Bars shorter than 12.5 ft (3.8 m) are below the minimum automatic loadable length
- The smallest tube is 1" in diameter, so light tube belongs on a smaller Lasertube
- Even the layout BLM draws, 12.5 m / 12.5 m (41 / 41 ft), needs a long bay
- No machine weight or power consumption is given in the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Tube ranges from 1" to 14" in diameter, and tubes and profiles up to 67 lbs/ft in weight, which BLM also states as 100 kg/m. Round, square and rectangular tubes, open profiles and special sections are listed, in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper and brass.
02
The table row reads "5 kW, 6+6 kW (Fiber)". BLM describes the source as multi-fiber and says it brings reduced cutting times on thin materials and higher quality on thicker materials. The cutting head is the Tube Cutter 3D.
03
The tail carriage detaches so that the end of the bar can be cut, making the most of the available material. In the technical table the corresponding row, minimal waste with end bar cutting, is given as 0 ft.
04
The loading length is 41 - 54 ft (12.5 - 16.5 m) and the minimum automatic loadable length is 12.5 ft (3.8 m). Unloading lengths are 21 - 28 - 41 - 54 ft (6.4 - 8.5 - 12.5 - 16.5 m). Loader and unloader are both front chain units and fully automatic.
05
It is built for heavier stock. The LT12 is limited to 41.6 lb/ft; the LT14 FIBER takes 67 lbs/ft and holds the work with three spindles. Its loader is also listed in longer lengths than the 28 ft - 41 ft (8.5 m - 12.5 m) of the LT12.
