Overview
Six metres of X travel put the Haco HFL 6020 CE in the long-bed class. The figures are 6,050 mm (238.2 in) in X and 2,050 mm (80.7 in) in Y, with a table rated for 3.70 tons and a 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW source.
A bed this long is used in two ways. One is full-length plate for long parts such as beams, trailer and body panels. The other is two shorter sheets placed end to end, which doubles the time between table changes. Either way the plate weight climbs quickly, and 3.70 tons is the number to check against the thickest full-size plate in the order book.
On paper the long gantry gives nothing away to the smaller models: 170 m/min, 2.8 G, ±0.05 mm/m positioning accuracy and ±0.03 mm/m repeatability. The accuracy figure is per metre, so over the full X travel the allowed deviation is correspondingly larger than on the HFL 3015 CE. Z travel is 290 mm (11.4 in).
Built as an enclosed machine, it has a light curtain and pneumatic door around the table and a camera with display for monitoring. The source is kept in an air-conditioned cabin. At 12 kW the control is FSCUT6000 with CypCut PRO. If that width is not enough, the HFL 6025 CE has 2,550 mm (100.4 in) of Y travel and a 4.70 tons table on the same length.
