Overview
The Haco HFL 4020 CEG is the mid-size combi laser of the range, with a large-format flatbed and a two-chuck tube station at its side. Sheet travels are 4,030 mm (158.7 in) in X and 2,020 mm (79.5 in) in Y. The table is rated for 2.50 tons.
On the tube side nothing grows with the bed. The limits are the same as on the HFL 3015 CEG: 200 kg (441 lb) of tube weight and 200 mm (7.9 in) of diameter or side. So the choice between the two is a sheet decision. This machine is for the shop that already needs the larger sheet format and wants tube capability with it.
Performance figures are 150 m/min, 2.0 G on sheet and 1.5 G on tube. The flatbed-only HFL 4020 CE is quicker at 170 m/min and 2.8 G, and its travels are slightly longer in X and wider in Y, so the tube station takes a little from both speed and envelope. Positioning accuracy is ±0.05 mm/m and repeatability ±0.03 mm/m.
Sources of 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW are offered. Tubes go in from the side or the top through the sliding door. Parts can be drawn and nested at the console, the head sets its focal point by material thickness, and a stopped cut resumes where it left off. Z travel is 290 mm (11.4 in).
