Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Haco HFL 3015 CEW that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Haco or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The Haco HFL 3015 CEW is an enclosed fiber laser with two interchangeable tables. Its axes travel 3,010 mm (118.5 in) in X and 1,505 mm (59.3 in) in Y, and it is sold with a 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW source.

Haco presents the CEW together with the HFL 3015 CE, and the two share every performance figure: 170 m/min maximum simultaneous speed, 2.8 G of acceleration, 290 mm (11.4 in) of Z travel and a table load of 1.40 tons. The printed difference is in the travels. The HFL 3015 CE has 3,050 mm (120.1 in) by 1,550 mm (61.0 in), so the CEW leaves less margin around a full sheet. Haco does not explain the W in the text, and a buyer comparing the two should ask what else changes.

The cutting area is fully enclosed, with a light curtain and pneumatic door around the table. A camera and display show the cut from outside. Extraction works through a multi-compartment structure whose CNC-controlled doors open only under the area being cut. The base is a welded, annealed tubular frame and the Y-axis beam is extruded aluminium, which is what makes 2.8 G practical.

Control follows the source power, from FSCUT2000 with CypCut E up to FSCUT6000 with CypCut PRO on the 12 kW machine. Nesting software, either CypNest or HacoSoft Laser, is on the option list and not in the base machine. So are the BTL 642 cutting head with FSCUT 8000 CNC, a QR code reader for calling up programs, and ATEX fume extraction.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Dual interchangeable tables in a fully enclosed cutting area
  • 2.8 G of acceleration and 170 m/min maximum simultaneous speed
  • Source options of 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW
  • Integrated camera and display for watching the cut
  • 290 mm (11.4 in) of Z travel

Limitations

  • Travels of 3,010 mm (118.5 in) by 1,505 mm (59.3 in) leave little margin on a full sheet
  • CypNest or HacoSoft Laser nesting software is optional equipment
  • Table load of 1.40 tons limits thick plate at full sheet size
  • The brochure does not say how the CEW differs from the CE beyond the table figures
