Overview

The GF Machining Solutions CHARMILLES LASER P 1000 U is the larger model in the precision LASER P series, designed for 5-axis laser texturing and micromachining on medium-sized workpieces. With X/Y/Z travels of 1,000 x 560 x 550 mm and a 150 kg workpiece capacity in 5-axis mode, the LASER P 1000 U handles mold inserts and precision components that exceed the capacity of the smaller P 600 U.

The 5-axis configuration features a laser tilting axis (A-axis) with -50/+135 degree range and a rotary B-axis with 160 degrees per second maximum speed on a 380 mm diameter table. Maximum 5-axis machining volume covers a diameter of 460 mm with 570 mm height, providing generous access to complex 3D surface geometries.

The Ytterbium pulsed fiber laser is available in 50W or 100W configurations with focal lengths of 100, 160, or 254 mm. The higher minimum power option reflects the P 1000 U's positioning for production texturing of larger surfaces where processing speed matters alongside precision.
