Overview

The Haco HFL 6025 CE is the largest flatbed in the HFL brochure. It combines 6,050 mm (238.2 in) of X travel with 2,550 mm (100.4 in) of Y, the widest Y travel in the range, and its table is rated for 4.70 tons.

That load rating is the highest in the range ahead of the HFL 6020 CE at 3.70 tons. It goes with the job this machine does. Plate this wide is a heavy-fabrication format, bought thick, and a 12 kW source is the natural partner for it. A 3 kW or 6 kW source is also listed.

Haco prints the same motion figures as for the rest of the CE line, 170 m/min and 2.8 G, and the same ±0.05 mm/m and ±0.03 mm/m for positioning accuracy and repeatability. Z travel is 290 mm (11.4 in). The Y beam spanning this width is extruded aluminium.

The standard equipment list matches the smaller machines. It covers the welded and annealed tubular base, sectioned extraction with CNC-controlled doors, proportional valve control of oxygen, nitrogen and air, camera monitoring, and the light curtain and pneumatic door around the table. With a bed of this area, the optional increased dust storage for the fume extractor and the optional nesting software, CypNest or HacoSoft Laser, are worth specifying from the start. Offcut management is part of the workshop scheduling module for HacoSoft Laser, also optional.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • Widest HFL model: 2,550 mm (100.4 in) of Y travel with 6,050 mm (238.2 in) of X
  • Highest table load in the range, 4.70 tons
  • Keeps the 170 m/min and 2.8 G figures of the smaller CE machines
  • Available with a 12 kW source
  • Sectioned extraction opens only the compartments under the cut

Limitations

  • Z travel remains 290 mm (11.4 in)
  • Nesting software and the scheduling module with offcut management are optional
  • No tube-cutting version at this width; the HFL 6020 CEG has 2,020 mm (79.5 in) of Y travel
  • Accuracy is given per metre and accumulates over the long axes

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What makes the HFL 6025 CE different from the other CE models?

Its width. Y travel is 2,550 mm (100.4 in), where the HFL 6020 CE and HFL 4020 CE have 2,050 mm (80.7 in). The table load is also the highest in the range at 4.70 tons.

02 How heavy a plate can be loaded?

The brochure gives a maximum table weight of 4.70 tons. For comparison the HFL 6020 CE is rated for 3.70 tons and the HFL 4020 CE for 2.50 tons.

03 What speed and acceleration does it reach?

Maximum simultaneous speed is 170 m/min and maximum acceleration is 2.8 G, the same as the other CE models. Positioning accuracy is ±0.05 mm/m.

04 Which laser powers are offered?

The table lists 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW. At 12 kW the control is FSCUT6000 with CypCut PRO. A BTL 642 cutting head with FSCUT 8000 CNC is available as optional equipment.
