Price estimate
We do not have a price for the HSG Cell 3015G that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The HSG Cell 3015G is a five-axis laser cell for cutting formed three-dimensional parts held in fixtures; HSG files it under thermoforming and processing. Its processing format is 3,000 × 1,500 mm (118.1 × 59.1 in), laser power is 3,000-6,000 W, and the head adds a B axis of ±135° and a C axis of N*360° to the three linear axes.
Those rotary figures describe HSG's own LA5 cutting head. Endless C rotation means the head never has to unwind between contours, and ±135° of swing lets it reach the flanges and return edges of a pressed panel. The head has 360° anti-collision protection, which matters on a machine where the nozzle follows a fixture-held part at close range.
Linear performance is 100 m/min maximum speed and 1.0 G acceleration on X, Y and Z, with positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm and repositioning accuracy of ±0.03 mm. HSG attributes the dynamics to a welded crossbeam and a cast aluminium Z axis.
Parts are presented on a rotating worktable with two stations, so one fixture is loaded while the other is cut; HSG gives a single rotation of ≤ 2.0s and a maximum loading weight of 400 kg (882 lb). That weight has to cover the fixture as well as the part. The control is a FANUC system, and the enclosure with top cover, light curtain and camera monitoring is standard.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Five-axis head with ±135° B-axis swing and N*360° C-axis rotation
- Rotating worktable with dual stations and a single rotation of ≤ 2.0s
- X/Y/Z positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm and repositioning accuracy of ±0.03 mm
- 100 m/min maximum speed and 1.0 G acceleration on the linear axes
- Fully protective enclosure with top cover, light curtain and visual monitoring as standard
Limitations
- Maximum loading weight is 400 kg (882 lb), which the fixture and the part must share
- Laser power stops at 6,000 W
- HSG's table gives no Z-axis travel, so the part height it can clear is not published
- The product page and the brochure state the positioning accuracy in different terms

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It is a 3D five-axis laser cutting machine for complex shaped workpieces. HSG names automotive manufacturing, aerospace, engineering machinery and model manufacturing, and says it suits small batch or customized production. The processing format is 3,000 × 1,500 mm (118.1 × 59.1 in).
02
The LA5 five-axis cutting head, developed by HSG, has a B-axis travel of ±135° and a C-axis travel of N*360°, meaning continuous rotation. The head also has a 360° anti-collision design to protect it if it touches the part or fixture.
03
The brochure lists X/Y/Z-axis positioning accuracy of ±0.05 mm and repositioning accuracy of ±0.03 mm, with a maximum speed of 100 m/min and acceleration of 1.0 G on those axes. The product page words its accuracy row differently, so confirm the figure with HSG.
04
On a rotating worktable with a dual station configuration and a standard fixture interface. HSG gives a single rotation time of ≤ 2.0s and a maximum loading weight of 400 kg (882 lb). A light curtain guards the loading side against accidental entry.
