How much does the Haco HFL 4020 CE cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Haco HFL 4020 CE that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Haco HFL 4020 CE is the mid-size flatbed of the CE line. X travel is 4,050 mm (159.4 in) and Y travel 2,050 mm (80.7 in), on the enclosed CE design with a 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW source.
Why this size? The wider bed nests parts that will not fit on the HFL 3015 CE, and the extra length holds long panels in one piece. The table is rated for 2.50 tons, against 1.40 tons on the HFL 3015 CE. That rating, more than the laser power, sets how thick a full-size plate can be loaded.
Growing the machine has not slowed it on paper. Haco prints 170 m/min and 2.8 G for the whole CE line, with ±0.05 mm/m positioning accuracy and ±0.03 mm/m repeatability. Z travel stays at 290 mm (11.4 in). The Y-axis beam is extruded aluminium on a welded, annealed tubular base.
Extraction is divided into compartments, and CNC-controlled doors open only the ones under the cut. That matters more on a large bed, where pulling air across the whole table would waste suction. A camera and display come standard. Among the options are CypNest or HacoSoft Laser nesting software, the BTL 642 head with FSCUT 8000 CNC, increased dust storage for the extractor, and ATEX extraction. Two longer machines continue the line: the HFL 6020 CE with 6,050 mm (238.2 in) of X travel on the same width, and the HFL 6025 CE.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Large-format bed: 4,050 mm (159.4 in) by 2,050 mm (80.7 in) of travel
- Table load of 2.50 tons, against 1.40 tons on the HFL 3015 CE
- Same 170 m/min and 2.8 G as the smaller CE machines
- Sectioned extraction with CNC-controlled doors
- 3 kW, 6 kW or 12 kW source
Limitations
- A 2.50 tons table limit still restricts very thick plate at full sheet size
- Nesting software is optional equipment
- Z travel of 290 mm (11.4 in) is unchanged from the HFL 3015 CE
- No tube cutting; that is the HFL 4020 CEG

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Travels are 4,050 mm (159.4 in) in X and 2,050 mm (80.7 in) in Y, with 290 mm (11.4 in) of Z travel. The maximum table weight is 2.50 tons.
02
Not according to the brochure. Both are listed at 170 m/min maximum simultaneous speed and 2.8 G maximum acceleration, with the same accuracy figures. The HFL 3015 CE has 3,050 mm (120.1 in) of X travel and a 1.40 tons table.
03
No. Tube cutting is added on the HFL 4020 CEG, which has two chucks at the side of the machine and takes tubes up to 200 kg (441 lb).
04
The BTL 642 cutting head with FSCUT 8000 CNC, CypNest or HacoSoft Laser nesting software, a QR code reader to open cutting programs, and an ATEX fume extraction system.
