Overview
The Yawei HLE-2560 is the six-metre model of the HLE fiber laser series and the largest one sold in the lower power band: 3, 6 or 12 kW. Its cutting range is 6,100 x 2,545 mm (240.2 x 100.2 in).
That pairing, a long table with at most 12 kW, sets it apart from the HLF-2560, which offers 6, 12, 20 or 30 kW. The HLE is the sheet machine of the two. Its worktable is rated 3,500 kg (7,716 lb), and its Z stroke is 340 mm (13.4 in).
Why buy six metres for sheet? Because long parts such as lift panels, truck body sections and cladding do not fit a four-metre table, and because two three-metre sheets can lie end to end and be cut in one cycle. At 170 m/min the head crosses the table quickly enough for that to pay.
The X stroke is 6,120 mm (240.9 in) and the Y stroke 2,565 mm (101.0 in), with ±0.03 mm (±0.0012 in) positioning accuracy and ±0.02 mm (±0.0008 in) repositioning accuracy.
