How much does the Fidia VSE865-RT cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Fidia VSE865-RT that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Fidia VSE865-RT is the 5-axis member of the VSE family: a C-frame vertical machine with a roto-tilting table in place of the plain table. Linear travels are 800 mm (31.5 in) in X, 610 mm (24 in) in Y and 510 mm (20 in) in Z, at 30 m/min (1,118 ipm).
The table is D=400 mm with a lateral width of 620 mm and a maximum total load of 200 kg. It rotates from 0° to 360° and tilts from -40° to 120°, with a resolution of 0.001° and absolute encoders on both axes. A tilt range that goes beyond horizontal lets the tool reach slightly undercut faces without a second clamping.
The spindle is an ISO 40 unit with a maximum of 53 kW and 250 Nm, strong figures for a 5-axis machine with a 200 kg table. The 3-axis VSE 1066 lists the same 53 kW and 250 Nm maxima for die and mould work. On small 5-axis parts that reserve mostly shows as stiffness and the freedom to use larger cutters.
The structure is GGG40 cast iron engineered with FEM analysis, and Fidia stresses visibility and ease of access. With Z at 510 mm (20 in) and a tilting table, check clearance for the tallest part and the longest tool. For heavier 5-axis parts, the Go5 carries 300 kg (660 lb).

Frequently Asked Questions
01
It is a 5-axis milling machine with a roto-tilting table, built on the C-frame moving-table design of the VSE vertical machining centres. The structures are GGG40 cast iron, and the two rotary axes are in the table, not in the head.
02
The table rotation goes from 0° to 360° and the tilting goes from -40° to 120°, with a resolution of 0.001°. Both axes use absolute encoders. The table is D=400 mm with a lateral width of 620 mm.
03
The maximum total load is 200 kg. That includes the fixture, so weigh the heaviest part with its clamping before choosing this machine. Linear travels are 800 mm (31.5 in), 610 mm (24 in) and 510 mm (20 in) in X, Y and Z.
04
The table lists an ISO 40 toolholder with maximum power of 53 kW and maximum torque of 250 Nm. Axis speed is 30 m/min (1,118 ipm) on X, Y and Z. Ask Fidia to confirm the maximum spindle speed for this model.
