How much does the Yasda YBM 8T-63TT cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Yasda YBM 8T-63TT that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Yasda YBM 8T-63TT is a table trunnion type 5-axis machine built on the mid-size precision center. Travels are 1,000 mm (39.4 in) in X, 1,000 mm (39.4 in) in Y and 1,100 mm (43.3 in) in Z, and the table working size is 630 x 630 mm (24.8 x 24.8 in).
Put those figures together and the design intent is clear. A 630 mm table sits inside a metre of travel in every direction, and the Y and Z strokes match those of the YBM 8T. The room around the table is there so that the trunnion can tilt a part and the spindle can still reach all of it, including the faces that swing away from the column. X is the axis that gives way: 1,000 mm here against 1,300 mm on the YBM 8T.
All four spindles of the precision center are offered. The base unit runs 50-10,000 min-1 on MAS BT50. The high-torque spindle covers 60-6,000 min-1 and one high-speed spindle 60-15,000 min-1, both on BT50, and a second high-speed spindle reaches 200-20,000 min-1 with MAS BT40. A trunnion machine with a BT50 high-torque spindle is a tool for 5-sided work in steel and cast iron; with the BT40 spindle it becomes a machine for lighter alloys.
No pallet changer is part of the base machine. A 6PLS APC is optional, as is tool storage of 90 tools or 120-450 tools beyond the standard 60 tools. Y can be extended to a total of 1,250 mm and Z to 1,400 mm. Height is 3,495 mm (137.6 in) with the 1,000 mm Y stroke and 3,745 mm (147.4 in) with 1,250 mm. The control is a FANUC 31i-B5 Plus.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Table trunnion type 5-axis machine with a 630 x 630 mm (24.8 x 24.8 in) table working size
- 1,000 x 1,000 x 1,100 mm of travel around the trunnion
- Four spindle choices from 60-6,000 min-1 high-torque to 200-20,000 min-1 high-speed
- Optional stroke extension to Y 1,250 mm and Z 1,400 mm total length
- 6PLS APC and up to 120-450 tools available as options
Limitations
- No pallet changer in the base machine; the APC is an option
- X travel of 1,000 mm (39.4 in), shorter than the 1,300 mm of the YBM 8T
- Tilt and rotation ranges of the trunnion are not published on the product page
- Height reaches 3,745 mm (147.4 in) with the longer Y stroke

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Yasda describes it as a table trunnion type 5-axis machine. It has a 630 x 630 mm table working size and travels of 1,000 mm in X, 1,000 mm in Y and 1,100 mm in Z.
02
The base spindle is 50-10,000 min-1 with MAS BT50. Options are a 60-6,000 min-1 high-torque spindle, a 60-15,000 min-1 high-speed spindle, and a 200-20,000 min-1 high-speed spindle that uses MAS BT40.
03
Not in the base specification, which lists no APC. A 6PLS APC is optional equipment. The YBM 8T, by comparison, has 2 pallets as standard.
04
Both are 5-axis machines with a 50-10,000 min-1 MAS BT50 base spindle and 60 tools. The YBM 7Ti has travels of 1,250 mm, 1,000 mm and 1,100 mm. The YBM 8T-63TT has 1,000 mm in X with the same Y and Z, and is described as a table trunnion type.
