Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler VMX-1300 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
With 1,300 mm (51.2 in) of X travel and a 1,420 x 600 mm (55.9 x 23.6 in) table, the Feeler VMX-1300 is the long-bed version of the VMX-1100. Y is 610 mm (24.0 in), Z is 600 mm (23.6 in) and the table carries 1,500 kg (3,307 lb). Feeler names it together with the VMX-1650 as the machines with 1,500 kg high-load tables and reinforced construction for mold and large-part manufacturing.
What does the extra length buy? Room for a mold base with its clamps inside the travel, or for two medium fixtures side by side so that one can be reloaded while the other is cut. A long table also lets a rotary axis with tailstock support shaft-type parts well over a metre long.
The drive figures are those of the whole upper range. Rapid traverse is 36 m/min (1,417 ipm) on X and Y and 24 m/min (945 ipm) on Z. The spindle is a 12,000 rpm direct-drive unit with a 7/24 No.40 taper, and 24 tools sit in the magazine. Nothing in the table suggests a geared or No.50 spindle for this model.
One sizing note. The step from here to the VMX-1650 is not just more X: that machine has 800 mm of Y and Z and a 1,700 x 800 mm table. If the parts are long but under 600 mm deep, this is the more compact answer. The structure is Meehanite cast iron on an A-frame reinforced column base, and Feeler says the series can be equipped with linear or hardened rails.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,300 mm (51.2 in) of X travel on a 1,420 mm table
- 1,500 kg (3,307 lb) high-load table, which Feeler pairs with reinforced construction on this model
- 610 mm of Y travel covers the 600 mm table depth with margin
- 12,000 rpm direct-drive No.40 spindle suited to finishing large surfaces with small tools
- Named by Feeler for mold and large-part manufacturing
Limitations
- Z rapid is 24 m/min (945 ipm), noticeably slower than X and Y at 36 m/min
- Load rating does not rise with table length: 1,500 kg, the same as the shorter VMX-1100
- 24 tools is modest for long unattended mold programs
- No No.50 taper option, spindle power or torque in the published table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
1,420 x 600 mm (55.9 x 23.6 in), with a maximum loading weight of 1,500 kg (3,307 lb). X travel is 1,300 mm and Y travel 610 mm, so the full depth of the table is inside the cutting area.
02
Z travel is 600 mm (23.6 in). Whether that is enough depends on the block height plus tool length. Feeler's table does not give the distance from spindle nose to table, so request the layout drawing to check daylight for tall mold blocks.
03
When depth or height runs out. The VMX-1650 has 1,650 x 800 x 800 mm travels and a 1,700 x 800 mm table at the same 1,500 kg rating, 36 m/min X and Y rapids, 12,000 rpm spindle and 24 tools.
04
Feeler lists 12,000 rpm with a 7/24 taper No.40 and describes a high-speed direct-drive BBT40 spindle for the series. The magazine holds 24 tools. Tool weight and diameter limits are not published on the series page.
