Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler FTC-430MC/LMC/XLMC that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Feeler FTC-430MC/LMC/XLMC puts a 12-VDI 40 driven-tool turret on the 10 in (254 mm) FTC-430. Unlike the smaller milling lathe in the family, it does so without losing swing: the maximum turning diameter stays at ø430 mm (ø16.9 in), the same as the two-axis FTC-430/L/XL.
That makes it the column for larger flanged parts that need drilling and milling. Bolt circles, cross holes, wrench flats and keyways can be added to a large chucked workpiece without a trip to a machining centre. VDI 40 is a quick-change shank system, so holders swap at the turret face.
Three lengths are listed. Turning length is 295 mm, 615 mm or 955 mm (37.6 in) and Z travel 340, 660 or 1,000 mm. Each is a little shorter than on the plain machine, room the milling turret takes. X travel is 215+25 mm.
Spindle rows match the rest of the 430 group: A2-8 nose, 3,500 rpm, ø88 mm (ø3.5 in) bore, ø78 mm (ø3.1 in) bar capacity, MT-4 tailstock. There is no Y axis here, so milling is limited to what a C axis and radial or axial tools can reach. Driven-tool speed and power are not published.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 12-VDI 40 turret for driven tools
- Keeps the full ø430 mm (ø16.9 in) turning diameter of the FTC-430/L/XL
- Three lengths: 295 mm, 615 mm or 955 mm (37.6 in) of turning length
- ø78 mm (ø3.1 in) bar capacity with an MT-4 tailstock
Limitations
- No Y axis; the FTC-430LY/XLY has 100 (±50) mm
- Main spindle tops out at 3,500 rpm
- Driven-tool speed, power and torque are not in the table
- No sub-spindle version is listed in the 430 size

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The tool-station row reads 12-VDI 40, meaning twelve stations with VDI 40 shanks. The two-axis FTC-430/L/XL in the next column is listed as 8(12) with no interface named.
02
Not on this model. The table gives ø430 mm (ø16.9 in), identical to the FTC-430/L/XL. On the smaller FTC-350MC/LMC/XLMC the figure does drop, to ø235 mm, so the two sizes behave differently in this respect.
03
X is printed as 215+25 mm. Z travel is 340/660/1,000 mm (13.4/26.0/39.4 in) for the MC, LMC and XLMC, with maximum turning lengths of 295/615/955 mm (11.6/24.2/37.6 in).
04
Only within what a C axis allows, because the Y-axis cell is empty for this column. For true Y-axis milling Feeler lists the FTC-430LY/XLY, with 100 (±50) mm of Y travel and a 12-BMT 55 turret.
