How much does the Feeler FTC-350SLY cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler FTC-350SLY that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Feeler FTC-350SLY carries every option the FTC-350 family offers in one column: a second spindle, and a Y axis with 80 (±40) mm (3.1 (±1.6) in) of travel. It is listed in a single length, with 515 mm (20.3 in) of turning length.
Complete machining is the purpose. The main spindle, 8 in (203 mm) chuck on an A2-6 nose at 4,500 rpm, does the first side. The second, a 6 in (152 mm) chuck on A2-5 at 6,000 rpm, takes the part across on 660 mm (26.0 in) of E-axis travel and presents the other end to the turret. With Y available, milled features need not sit on a radius, so hexes, flats, slots and offset holes can go on either end.
Unlike the other milling columns it keeps the ø350 mm (ø13.8 in) maximum turning diameter. Z travel is 555 mm (21.9 in) and X is printed as 175+10 mm. Bar capacity is ø52 mm through the main spindle and ø45 mm through the second, with bores printed as ø62/ø56 mm.
What the table leaves open is the turret. The station cell for this model is printed as a code that is not clear, and there is no tailstock row. Anyone planning work around a particular tool count, or around driven-tool speed and power, needs those figures from the maker before committing parts to it.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Y axis of 80 (±40) mm together with a second spindle, for milled features on both ends
- Keeps the ø350 mm (ø13.8 in) turning diameter
- 660 mm (26.0 in) of E-axis travel for the 6 in second chuck
- Second spindle runs to 6,000 rpm
Limitations
- One length only, 515 mm (20.3 in) of turning length
- No tailstock row in the table
- Turret station count is not legible in the maker's table
- Second-spindle bar capacity is ø45 mm against ø52 mm on the main side

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The second spindle. The FTC-350LY has a tailstock (MT-4) and 585 mm of turning length. The FTC-350SLY replaces the tailstock with a 6 in chuck on 660 mm of E-axis travel and lists 515 mm of turning length. Both have 80 (±40) mm of Y travel.
02
Up to ø350 mm (ø13.8 in) in diameter and 515 mm (20.3 in) in length according to the table. Bar goes up to ø52 mm (ø2.0 in) through the main spindle.
03
4,500 rpm for the main spindle with its A2-6 nose and 6,000 rpm for the second spindle with its A2-5 nose. The table prints them together as 4,500/6,000 rpm and gives no power or torque.
04
That cannot be stated from the maker's page: the tool-station cell for this column is printed as an unclear code. The neighbouring FTC-350SLMC/SXLMC is listed as 12-BMT 55. Confirm the station count and interface for the SLY with Feeler.
