How much does the Feeler FTC-10 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler FTC-10 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Feeler FTC-10 is a small two-axis CNC lathe: a 6 in chuck as standard with 8 in in brackets as the alternative, a maximum turning diameter of φ240 mm and a turning length of 255 mm (10.0 in). It is the smallest of the three FTC linear guide lathes.
The spindle runs to 6,000 rpm on an A2-5 nose. High speed on a small lathe is what keeps surface speed up on small diameters, so the figure suits pins, bushings, fittings and other bar parts. Bar capacity is φ45 mm, through a φ56 mm spindle bore. A bar feeder turns the machine into an unattended producer of short parts, provided the parts stay inside the 255 mm turning length.
X travel is printed as 120+20 mm and Z travel as 290 mm (11.4 in). Both axes rapid at 24 m/min, listed as 24/24 m/min for X/Z, which is brisk for a machine whose longest move is the 290 mm Z stroke. The turret has 10 stations and the tailstock takes an MT-3 centre.
Feeler describes the FTC series as linear guide lathes with a solid structural design and the latest FANUC controller, aimed at small and medium-sized parts in everyday production. Nothing in the table suggests driven tools, a C axis or a sub-spindle on this model, so milled features need a second operation elsewhere. Motor power is not published.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table prints 6" with 8" in brackets, which Feeler's tables use for an alternative or optional value. The spindle nose is A2-5 and the spindle speed 6,000 rpm.
02
φ45 mm (φ1.8 in). The through-spindle hole diameter is φ56 mm, so the draw tube takes up the difference. Maximum turning length is 255 mm (10.0 in).
03
10 stations. The table gives only the count. Tool shank size, boring bar capacity and indexing time are not listed on the series page.
04
The FTC-20(L) is the next size: an 8 in chuck, φ350 mm turning diameter, φ51 mm bar capacity and 4,500 rpm on an A2-6 nose, with an 8-station turret. The FTC-10 is smaller and faster at 6,000 rpm with 10 stations.
