How much does the Feeler FTC-350MC/LMC/XLMC cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Feeler FTC-350MC/LMC/XLMC that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Feeler's FTC-350MC/LMC/XLMC is the turning-milling version of the 8 in (203 mm) FTC-350, offered on three bed lengths. The figure to read first is the turning diameter: ø235 mm (ø9.3 in). The plain FTC-350/L/XL turns ø350 mm on the same chuck and spindle, so the milling turret takes a good deal of swing away.
That trade is normal for a driven-tool turret, whose holders stand further out than fixed turning tools, but it decides what fits. Flanges and discs near the chuck's full size belong on the two-axis machine. Parts that are mostly bar or small chucking work, and that need cross holes, flats or keyways finished in the same clamping, are what this column is for.
Lengths are 310 mm, 600 mm and 970 mm (38.2 in) of turning length for the MC, LMC and XLMC, with Z travel of 350, 640 and 1,010 mm. X travel is printed as 188+2 mm. The A2-6 spindle runs to 4,500 rpm with a ø62 (ø76) mm bore and ø52/ø66 mm bar capacity, and the tailstock is MT-4.
Feeler's page prints the tool-station cell for this model as a code that cannot be read with confidence, so no station count is given here. Neither driven-tool speed nor milling power appears in the series table. Ask for both, since they set how much real milling the machine can do.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Turning and milling in one clamping on an 8 in (203 mm) chuck lathe
- Three lengths: 310 mm, 600 mm or 970 mm (38.2 in) of turning length
- MT-4 tailstock kept alongside the milling turret
- ø52/ø66 mm bar capacity with a ø62 (ø76) mm spindle bore
Limitations
- Maximum turning diameter falls to ø235 mm (ø9.3 in), from ø350 mm on the FTC-350/L/XL
- No Y axis in this column; off-centre milling needs the FTC-350LY
- Driven-tool speed and power are not published, and the station count is not legible in the maker's table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table gives ø235 mm (ø9.3 in) for this column and ø350 mm for the FTC-350/L/XL. Feeler does not explain the difference; the usual reason is that driven-tool holders project further from the turret and limit the swing. Check the tool interference drawing for the largest part planned.
02
Three. MC, LMC and XLMC list maximum turning lengths of 310/600/970 mm (12.2/23.6/38.2 in) and Z travels of 350/640/1,010 mm (13.8/25.2/39.8 in).
03
No. The Y-axis travel cell is empty for this column. Feeler lists a separate FTC-350LY with 80 (±40) mm of Y travel for milling off the spindle centreline.
04
An A2-6 nose, 4,500 rpm maximum, with the through-spindle hole printed as ø62 (ø76) mm and bar capacity as ø52/ø66 mm (ø2.0/ø2.6 in). Spindle power and torque are not in the table.
