Citizen Miyano BNE-42S6

The Citizen Miyano BNE-42S6 is a dual-spindle, twin-turret fixed-headstock CNC turning center designed for high-productivity complete part processing of components up to 42mm bar diameter. The S6 designation indicates a sub-spindle configuration with sixth-generation platform improvements. With twin 12-station turrets delivering 24 tool positions and simultaneous front and back operations, the BNE-42S6 targets medium-to-high volume production.

The main spindle reaches 6,000 RPM powered by a 15/11 kW (20/15 hp) motor. The sub-spindle operates at 5,000 RPM with 5.5/3.7 kW, accepting 42mm bar for backworking. Both turrets carry 12 stations with live tooling at 6,000 RPM.

The twin-turret architecture enables simultaneous front and back operations, dramatically reducing cycle times on balanced parts. The sub-spindle Z3 travel of 450mm provides precise part pickup. At 7,600 kg on a 2,690 x 2,160mm footprint, the machine delivers excellent vibration damping and thermal stability.

With 90mm turning length, the BNE-42S6 is optimized for shorter precision parts typical of automotive, medical, and hydraulic applications. For on-center features achievable with C-axis interpolation, the S6 delivers the fastest cycle times with straightforward programming.
