Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Dener DD-M-5020 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
Two metres and 50 ton, all electric: the Dener DD-M-5020 is the second size in Dener's servo electric press brake range. Bending length is 2,040 mm (80.3 in).
It weighs 4,850 kg (10,692 lb), only a little more than the DD-M-4015 at 4,600 kg, and uses the same 11 kW (14.8 hp) motor. What changes is the bed, which is half a metre longer, and the ram speed: approach and return are 150 mm/sec here. Bending speed is 20 mm/sec, twice what a typical hydraulic brake manages in the bend, and Dener claims up to 35% speed advantage over hydraulic machines from shorter waiting times.
The working opening does not depend on size in this series. Every DD-M has a 300 mm maximum stroke and 660 mm between the tables. That is generous for a 50 ton machine and makes box and deep-channel parts practical in light gauge.
Energy is the other argument. Dener states up to 50% lower consumption than hydraulic press brakes, since the servo drive draws power only while the ram moves.
Standard equipment includes the ESA 875 W 3D control, Y1, Y2, X and R axes, European-style sectional tool holders and electrical cabinet cooling. Overall length is 3,170 mm.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 2,040 mm bending length at just 4,850 kg (10,692 lb)
- 150 mm/sec approach and return with 20 mm/sec in the bend
- 660 mm between the tables and a 300 mm stroke
- Dener states up to 50% lower energy consumption than hydraulic press brakes
Limitations
- 50 ton restricts full-length bends to thin material
- No crowning in the standard build
- Sheet follower and angle measuring are options

Frequently Asked Questions
01
A maximum tonnage of 50 ton across a bending length of 2,040 mm (80.3 in). Maximum stroke is 300 mm and the distance between tables is 660 mm.
02
The DD-M-4015 bends 1,530 mm at 40 ton and runs its ram at 170 mm/sec. The DD-M-5020 bends 2,040 mm at 50 ton with 150 mm/sec approach and return. Motor, stroke and table distance are the same.
03
No. Dener describes the servo electric series as 100% electric with 0% hydraulic oil, which removes oil changes, filters and leaks from the maintenance list.
04
3,170 mm overall length, 1,960 mm depth and 2,500 mm height, rising to a maximum height of 2,900 mm. The machine weighs 4,850 kg (10,692 lb).
