Overview

The Durma AD-Servo 60320 is the lightest six-metre hybrid press brake Durma lists: 320 ton across a bending length of 6,050 mm (238.2 in). Machines of this length are bought for long parts such as light poles, trailer sides, door frames and cladding, where one long bend replaces two bends and a weld.

It has 5,100 mm (200.8 in) between the columns and a 450 mm (17.7 in) throat. The beam approaches and returns at 160 mm/sec and bends at 10 mm/sec, unchanged from the three- and four-metre 320 ton versions, so length has not been bought with speed.

Over six metres, straightness of the bend depends on crowning and on gauging. CNC-controlled motorized crowning is standard across the series. The back gauge has a Z axis working distance of 4,400 mm (173.2 in), which lets optional Z1 and Z2 fingers stand far apart under a long blank, and 750 mm (29.5 in) of X travel as standard. For blanks this long the AP3-AP4 sheet follower with motorized height adjustment is an option to consider, since two operators cannot follow a six-metre flange by hand with any consistency.

The table is 1,100 mm (43.3 in) high, noticeably higher than on the shorter models, and 154 mm (6.1 in) narrow or 300 mm (11.8 in) wide. Stroke is 365 mm (14.4 in) and daylight 630 mm (24.8 in). The machine is 7,500 mm (295.3 in) long and weighs 29,000 kg (63,933 lb).

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 6,050 mm (238.2 in) bending length with 5,100 mm (200.8 in) between columns
  • 160 mm/sec rapid and return speed on a six-metre beam
  • Z axis working distance of 4,400 mm (173.2 in) on the back gauge
  • CNC-controlled motorized crowning as standard
  • 365 mm (14.4 in) stroke and 630 mm (24.8 in) of daylight

Limitations

  • 320 ton over 6,050 mm (238.2 in) limits full-length bends to thinner material
  • Table height of 1,100 mm (43.3 in)
  • 7,500 mm (295.3 in) long and 29,000 kg (63,933 lb)
  • Sheet follower and Z1, Z2 axes, both useful at this length, are options

Best For

Long sheet parts such as cladding, door frames and trailer panels Tapered pole and mast sections in thin plate Shops replacing welded two-piece parts with one long bend
