CHMER CM1265C — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the CHMER CM1265C that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from CHMER or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

The CHMER CM1265C is the largest of CHMER's C-frame-style CNC die sinkers before the series moves to its 75 and 76 frames. It has 1,200 x 600 mm (47.2 x 23.6 in) of table travel, a 1,500 x 800 mm (59.1 x 31.5 in) table and a workpiece limit of 7,500 kg (16,500 lb).

That load rating is the highest among the models up to this size and exceeds several of the larger machines above it: the CM1475C, with more X travel, is rated for 5,500 kg (12,125 lb). A buyer with short, dense mould blocks should therefore look here first.

The work tank measures 2,500 x 1,350 x 700 mm (98.4 x 53.1 x 27.5 in), and the D1265 dielectric tank holds 3,500 L (925 gal). Ram travel is 500 mm (19.7 in) and electrode weight is limited to 300 kg (660 lb), so the burning end is the same as on the CM865C; only the table and structure are scaled up. The machine weighs 8,500 kg (18,700 lb).

Generators from 50N to 150N are available. At 150 A the 150N reaches 1,050 mm3/min, and the 50N or 75N can finish to 0.25 μm Ra. Two rows on CHMER's page are unusable for this model, because the metric and inch figures contradict each other: the outside dimensions and the ram-to-table distance. Get both from CHMER before planning the bay.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 7,500 kg (16,500 lb) workpiece limit
  • 1,200 x 600 mm (47.2 x 23.6 in) table travel on a 1,500 x 800 mm (59.1 x 31.5 in) table
  • Work tank of 2,500 x 1,350 x 700 mm (98.4 x 53.1 x 27.5 in)
  • 3,500 L (925 gal) dielectric tank
  • Full generator range, 50 A to 150 A

Limitations

  • Outside dimensions and ram-to-table distance are printed inconsistently by the maker
  • Electrode limit of 300 kg (660 lb) on an 8,500 kg (18,700 lb) machine
  • Y travel of 600 mm (23.6 in) is no more than on the CM865C
  • Large dielectric volume lengthens fill and drain

Frequently Asked Questions

01 How heavy a workpiece can the CM1265C take?

The maximum workpiece weight is 7,500 kg (16,500 lb). The maximum electrode weight is 300 kg (660 lb). The table is 1,500 x 800 mm (59.1 x 31.5 in).

02 What are the travels of the CM1265C?

Table travel is 1,200 x 600 mm (47.2 x 23.6 in) in X and Y, and ram travel is 500 mm (19.7 in). The table is 1,500 x 800 mm (59.1 x 31.5 in) and the work tank 2,500 x 1,350 x 700 mm.

03 How does the CM1265C compare with the CM1065C?

The CM1265C has 1,200 mm of X travel, a 1,500 x 800 mm table, a 7,500 kg (16,500 lb) load limit and a 3,500 L (925 gal) dielectric tank. The CM1065C has 1,000 mm of X travel, a 1,200 x 800 mm table, 5,000 kg (11,000 lb) and 2,100 L (555 gal). Y and ram travel are the same.

04 What does the CM1265C weigh?

The machine weighs 8,500 kg (18,700 lb). Add up to 7,500 kg (16,500 lb) of workpiece and the dielectric in the 2,500 x 1,350 x 700 mm work tank when checking the foundation.
