How much does the CHMER CM1065C cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the CHMER CM1065C that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The CHMER CM1065C is a metre-class CNC die sinker EDM: 1,000 x 600 mm (39.4 x 23.6 in) of table travel, 500 mm (19.7 in) of ram travel and a workpiece limit of 5,000 kg (11,000 lb). It shares its 1,200 x 800 mm table with the CM865C but sets it in a far larger work tank, 2,100 x 1,200 x 600 mm (82.7 x 47.2 x 23.6 in).
That tank is the point of the model. A mould half much longer than the table can overhang inside it and still be submerged, and the 1,000 mm of X travel lets the ram reach along it. The CM865C, by comparison, offers 800 mm of X in a 1,600 mm wide tank.
Five tonnes of workpiece needs a matching dielectric system. The D1065 tank holds 2,100 L (555 gal), and filling a work tank of this size takes time on every setup, so cycle planning should count fill and drain as part of the job. All four generators, 50N to 150N, can be fitted; the 150N gives 150 A and up to 1,050 mm3/min.
The machine weighs 6,500 kg (14,300 lb) and measures 2,600 x 2,600 x 3,050 mm. Electrode weight is limited to 300 kg (660 lb). CHMER's page prints a ram-to-table distance whose metric and inch figures disagree, so it is not listed here; ask for it if tall workpieces are planned.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Table travel is 1,000 x 600 mm (39.4 x 23.6 in), ram travel 500 mm (19.7 in), maximum workpiece weight 5,000 kg (11,000 lb) and maximum electrode weight 300 kg (660 lb). The work tank measures 2,100 x 1,200 x 600 mm.
02
The table is the same size, 1,200 x 800 mm, but the CM1065C has 1,000 mm of X travel against 800 mm on the CM865C, a 2,100 x 1,200 x 600 mm tank against 1,600 x 1,000 x 550 mm, and carries 5,000 kg (11,000 lb) against 4,000 kg (8,800 lb).
03
The D1065 dielectric tank has a volume of 2,100 L (555 gal) and uses paper filtration. The work tank it serves measures 2,100 x 1,200 x 600 mm (82.7 x 47.2 x 23.6 in).
04
Outside dimensions are 2,600 x 2,600 x 3,050 mm, width by depth by height, and the machine weighs 6,500 kg (14,300 lb). The generator and dielectric tank are separate units.
