Overview

The Campro PV-3221 opens the wider half of the PV double column range. X travel is 3,200 mm (125.9 in), Y travel 2,100 mm (82.6 in), and the columns stand 2,200 mm (86.6 in) apart, so a part can be far wider than on the 16-family machines.

Several things change with the wider bridge. Z travel is 800 mm (31.4 in) as standard and 1,000 mm (39.3 in) as an option, which moves the spindle nose range from 200~1,000 mm (7.8 in ~ 39.3 in) to 250~1,250 mm (9.8 in ~ 49.2 in). The table becomes 3,000 × 1,700 mm (118.1 in x 66.9 in) with nine T-slots. Campro says the structure allows different milling heads to be fitted for larger workpieces, naming the automobile and aerospace industries, and lists a fully enclosed top roof cover as an option.
