Vision Wide SF-5126 — price

Price estimate: uncertain

We have no price for the Vision Wide SF-5126 that we can cite and no estimate we can stand behind, so this page shows no number rather than a guess. A quote from Vision Wide or an authorised dealer is the reliable figure.

What moves the final price

  • Spindle, control and probing options
  • Tool changer capacity and tooling package
  • Automation — pallet changers, bar feeders, robot cells
  • Freight, rigging, installation and training
  • Region, dealer and time of year

Overview

No SF with a vertical type tool change covers more area than the Vision Wide SF-5126. X travel is 5,100 mm (200.8 in), Y travel is 2,600 mm (102.4 in), and the 5,300×2,100 mm (208.7×82.7 in) table is rated for 18,000 kg (39,683 lb).

A machine this size is usually justified by one family of parts: large stamping dies, wind or press components, long welded frames. It helps to check each of them against three figures. First the weight, with fixtures, against the 18,000 kg limit. Second the height: standard Z travel is 800 mm, and the 1,020 mm and 1,000 mm strokes are options that depend on the head. Third the length, because the table is longer than the X stroke and the last part of each end is clamping room, not cutting room.

The cutting figures are the SF standard. Feed runs 1-10,000 mm/min and rapids are 20 m/min in X and Y with 15 m/min in Z. The spindle is 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp), or 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) as an option.

The SF-5133 lists the same Y travel and table with a floor-standing tool changer in place of the vertical type.

Strengths & Limitations

Strengths

  • 5,100 mm (200.8 in) by 2,600 mm (102.4 in) of X and Y travel
  • 18,000 kg (39,683 lb) table load
  • 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) spindle motor option
  • Table ends beyond the X stroke give clamping room

Limitations

  • Standard Z travel is 800 mm
  • Tool capacity of 32/40 pcs(Opt.) is small for long unattended cycles
  • Rapids of 20 m/min over 5,100 mm (200.8 in) of X

Frequently Asked Questions

01 What are the travels of the Vision Wide SF-5126?

5,100 mm (200.8 in) in X and 2,600 mm (102.4 in) in Y. Z is listed as 800 / 1,020 mm (31.5 / 40.2 in) (Opt.) for the box way head and 800 / 1,000 mm (31.5 / 39.4 in) (Opt.) for the linear way head.

02 What is the difference between the SF-5126 and the SF-5133?

Travels, table and load match in Vision Wide's tables. The SF-5126 lists a vertical type tool change with 32/40 pcs(Opt.), while the SF-5133 lists floor-standing tool changers, including a vertical-horizontal type with up to 60 pcs(Opt.).

03 How much does the SF-5126 table hold?

The maximum table load is 18,000 kg (39,683 lb) on a 5,300×2,100 mm (208.7×82.7 in) table. Fixture weight counts toward that figure.

04 Is the SF-5126 suitable for mold finishing?

With options, yes. The standard spindle is a 6,000 rpm gear type. Direct-driven spindles at 10,000 rpm and 12,000 rpm and a 10,000 rpm built-in spindle are listed for the linear way head, and cutting feed reaches 10,000 mm/min.
