Price estimate
We do not have a price for the BLM Group LT24 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
For tube up to 24" in diameter, the BLM Group LT24 is the top of the Lasertube range, and the only model in it listed here with a CO2 source: 4 kW, higher on demand. Its work is large steel structures, in wall thicknesses up to 0.9 in (22 mm).
BLM sets the laser against plasma and oxyfuel on this kind of section, and its argument is what happens after the cut. The 3D head chamfers ends and holes, the edges need no rework, and parts go to welding as they come off the machine. Tolerances are held without later adjustment.
Three spindles hold the workpiece. The heavy section is kept from moving while the lighter cutting head travels along it, which BLM credits for both precision and shorter processing times. Diameter, thickness and section changes are automatic, without retooling.
Stock length drives the installation. A bar must be at least 13 ft (4 m) long to load, and the front chain loader is offered for 39 ft (12 m), 50 ft or 59 ft (18 m) bars. The front chain unloader is listed with the same three maximum lengths. BLM's own layout drawing pairs a 12 m loader with a 10 m unloader.
One caution on weight. BLM's pages give conflicting bar weight figures for this model, so none is quoted here. Ask the maker for the rated weight per unit length before planning heavy-wall work, along with the machine weight and power figures that the table omits.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Tube range up to 24" in diameter, with round, square, rectangular, special and open sections
- 3D head carries out chamfering on ends and holes, leaving edges ready for welding without rework
- Three spindles hold the workpiece while the lighter cutting head moves along the tube
- Changes of diameter, thickness and section are automatic, with no retooling
- Loader and unloader lengths up to 59 ft (18 m)
Limitations
- CO2 source rather than fiber: the LT14 FIBER is the fiber alternative for sections within its range
- Machinable thickness ends at 0.9 in (22 mm)
- Bars under 13 ft (4 m) cannot be loaded
- No reliable bar weight, machine weight or power figure is published in the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The tube range is up to 24" in diameter, and the machinable thickness is max 0.9 in (22 mm). Round, square and rectangular tubes, special sections and open profiles are listed. BLM's pages do not agree on the bar weight limit, so that figure should be confirmed with the maker.
02
The technical table lists a 4 kW CO2 source, with higher power on demand, and a 3D cutting head. That sets it apart from the LT14 FIBER, whose source row reads "5 kW, 6+6 kW (Fiber)".
03
The minimum loadable length is 13 ft (4 m). Maximum loadable lengths of 39 ft (12 m), 50 ft and 59 ft (18 m) are listed, depending on the loader, and the unloader is offered in the same three maximum lengths. Both are front chain units and fully automatic.
04
BLM's case rests on part quality and on what follows the cut. Precision stays within the required tolerances with no later adjustment, chamfers on ends and holes are made in the same cycle, and the machined edges do not require rework before welding.
05
With three spindles. They hold the workpiece and eliminate uncontrolled movements, while the cutting head, which is lighter and faster, moves along the tube. BLM attributes more precise and faster cuts to this arrangement.
