Overview
The Yawei YTF-6024 is the smallest YTF high-performance tube laser: 6,800 mm (267.7 in) of X-axis travel, round tube listed as Round tube Φ10-Φ240 mm, and a pipe weight of up to 200 kg (441 lb).
Its range is the same as that of the YTB-6024 from Yawei's universal series, down to the 10 mm minimum, and the X travel is equal. What the YTF adds is dynamics. The A and B axes reach 120 r/min and X/Y acceleration is 1.2 G; the YTB-6024 lists 90 r/min and 0.8 G. The YTB-6024, on the other hand, carries 300 kg (661 lb) and fits a shorter layout.
The YTF frame is the bigger installation, at 13,000 x 5,500 x 3,000 mm (511.8 x 216.5 x 118.1 in). Yawei's description of the series explains where the room goes in part: servo material support along the bed, and a control it credits with nanometer-level interpolation and microsecond-level response.
Strokes are 200 mm (7.9 in) in Y and 240 mm (9.4 in) in Z, and the rotary axes are infinite. Positioning accuracy is ±0.05 mm (±0.0020 in). Power options are 2, 3, 4 or 6 kW. For small tube in high volume, where the cut itself takes a second or two and the moves between cuts dominate, the acceleration figure is the one that pays.
