We do not have a price for the Prima Power Laser Next 1530-2130 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Prima Power Laser Next 1530-2130 is a 3D fiber laser built for one task above all: trimming hot-stamped steel automotive components in volume. Prima Power lists it as one machine in two widths, with X 3,050 mm (120.1 in), Z 612 mm (24.1 in) and a Y of either 1,530 mm (60.2 in) or 2,100 mm (82.7 in).
Cycle time drives the design. The linear axes run at 120 m/min each and reach 208 m/min on trajectory, and the head axes A and B turn at 1.5 rev/s. Linear motors move the main axes; direct motors with optical scales move the focusing head. The frame is synthetic granite. Parts are exchanged on a turntable with a servo motor and absolute encoder, so loading happens while the other station cuts.
The focusing head is sealed and compact, with Focus Position Control and two anti-crash systems. It also works as a measuring tool, which shortens set-up and allows parts to be checked on the machine.
Prima Power says the latest version uses the Siemens Sinumerik One numerical control, with its own HMI built on the Tulus architecture. Layout is the other selling point. Up to three machines can be connected to a single magnetic scrap conveyor without excavation work, which matters when several machines stand side by side. Accuracy (Pa, Ps) is 0.03 mm to VDI 3441 and the source is 3,000 W – 4,000 W.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 120 m/min axis speed and 208 m/min trajectory speed
- Turntable with servo motor and absolute encoder for loading during cutting
- Focusing head with Focus Position Control and dual anti-crash systems, also usable as a measuring tool
- Up to three machines on a single magnetic scrap conveyor without excavation work
- Siemens Sinumerik One numerical control on the latest version
Limitations
- Z travel of 612 mm (24.1 in) limits part and fixture height
- Aimed at high-volume automotive production; less suited to varied one-off work
- Source power is 3,000 W – 4,000 W only
- The two Y widths are not given separate model pages or separate data by Prima Power

Two. The X travel is 3,050 mm (120.1 in) and the Z travel 612 mm (24.1 in) on both; Y is 1,530 mm (60.2 in) or 2,100 mm (82.7 in). All other technical data on Prima Power's page is common to the two widths.
02
X, Y and Z each move at 120 m/min, with a trajectory speed of 208 m/min. The A and B head axes rotate at 1.5 rev/s. A range is 360° and B range is ±135°.
03
Prima Power states that the latest version adopts the Siemens numerical control Sinumerik One. The operator works through Prima Power's own HMI, built on the Tulus architecture, which it says reduces the time spent on daily tasks by up to 15%.
04
The layout allows up to three machines to be connected to a single magnetic scrap conveyor without excavation work. Prima Power describes the layout as suited to both standalone and multi-machine configurations.
