Overview

The Baykal BLU is the ultra high power machine in Baykal's fiber laser range, listed with 20-30 kW sources. Working areas run from 1,500 mm - 3,000 mm (59.1 - 118.1 in) in width and 3,000 mm - 15,000 mm (118.1 - 590.6 in) in length.

Mechanically it reads like the rack and pinion version of the BLS PRO with a bigger laser on it. The X axis is rack and pinion and the Y axis is a linear motor, with Beckhoff motors and drives.
