Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Baykal BLE PRO that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Baykal BLE PRO is a compact enclosed fiber laser with a motorized shuttle table, offered from 1 kW to 6 kW. The technical data sheet describes the 1,500 mm (59.1 in) by 3,000 mm (118.1 in) working area; Baykal's product page adds that the machine can also be ordered in 2000mm x 4000mm and 2000mm x 6000mm formats.
Two things separate it from the single-table BLE. The transfer table is a motorized automatic exchange, so one table is loaded or unloaded while the other is being cut, and each table takes 1,250 kg (2,756 lb). Acceleration rises to 1.8G (18 m/s²). Rapid traverse stays at 95 m/min and vector speed at 135 m/min, on a Wittenstein rack and pinion with Beckhoff rotary servos, and the accuracy figures are ± 0.03 mm positioning and ± 0.04 mm repeatability.
The standard head is a Precitec ProCutter Thunder, with the ProCutter 2.0 as the option. Resonators come from IPG, nLIGHT or Max Photonics. At 6 kW the capacity table reaches 25 mm (0.98 in) in mild steel, 16 mm (0.63 in) in stainless and 12 mm (0.47 in) in aluminum.
Baykal says the whole machine can be packed in one 40OT container, which matters for freight and for getting it into a building. The welded steel frame, the interior camera and the magnetically locked sliding front door are all described on the product page. An automatic nozzle changer and the fume extractor are options, and the Compact Tower provides automatic loading and unloading for those who want to run it unattended.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Motorized automatic exchange table: one table is loaded while the other is cut
- Power range from 1 kW to 6 kW, with 25 mm (0.98 in) mild steel capacity at 6 kW
- 1.8G (18 m/s²) acceleration with 95 m/min rapid traverse
- Each table carries 1,250 kg (2,756 lb)
- Baykal states the whole machine packs into one 40OT container
- Can be automated with Baykal's Compact Tower for loading and unloading
Limitations
- Programmable feed rate tops out at 50 m/min, half the 100 m/min of the BLS PRO
- The automatic nozzle changer and the fume extractor are options
- The ProCutter 2.0 head is an option; the standard head is the ProCutter Thunder
- Power stops at 6 kW, so thicker plate work belongs on the BLS PRO

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The BLE PRO has a motorized automatic exchange table where the BLE has a single table, carries 1,250 kg (2,756 lb) per table against 750 kg (1,653 lb) on the BLE, and accelerates at 1.8G (18 m/s²). Its power range runs to 6 kW; the BLE ends at 3 kW.
02
The data sheet shows a working area 1,500 mm (59.1 in) wide and 3,000 mm (118.1 in) long. Baykal's product page lists three formats: 1500mm x 3000mm, 2000mm x 4000mm and 2000mm x 6000mm. Confirm the table load for the larger formats with Baykal.
03
It depends on the source. Mild steel goes from 12 mm (0.47 in) at 1 kW to 20 mm (0.79 in) at 3 kW and 25 mm (0.98 in) at 6 kW. Stainless reaches 16 mm (0.63 in) and aluminum 12 mm (0.47 in) at 6 kW. Baykal notes these depend on material and parameters.
04
The standard head is a Precitec ProCutter Thunder and the ProCutter 2.0 is optional. The control is a Beckhoff CNC with an 18.5" TFT screen, driving Beckhoff rotary servos through a Wittenstein rack and pinion. Nozzle cleaning and calibration are automatic.
