How much does the Anderson EXXACT PRO DUO cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Anderson EXXACT PRO DUO that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Anderson EXXACT PRO DUO is a fixed bridge router with twin moving tables and two router heads. Each table is 1840 x 1600 mm (72.4 x 63 in), each head is rated 18 HP (S6) / 15 HP (S1) on HSK 63F, and the head spacing is set by the CNC anywhere from 300 to 1800 mm. Anderson sells it in three versions, the PRO DUO TC2, PRO DUO TC2+D2 and PRO DUO IPT-TC2, which share one specification table.
The twin tables are there for pendulum work. Anderson's description is to cut on Table A while unloading and reloading Table B, then swap. Safety fences and light barriers across the front of the tables are included for that reason. Each table has 2 M-code controlled vacuum zones, 16 internal pop-up pins and 6 external stops, on a 30 mm phenolic grid over cast steel.
The versions differ in two rows. The TC2+D2 adds 2 x 5+5 boring blocks; the other two have none. The IPT-TC2 swaps the FANUC 0i-MF+ control for a FANUC 31i-MB+ and runs 2 programs at once, so each head can cut a different part. On all three, the included M100 look-ahead lets the idle spindle change tools while the other keeps cutting, and each spindle has a ride-along changer with 10 positions.
Construction is described in more detail than for most Anderson routers: a welded steel frame, a Meehanite Z carriage with pneumatic counterbalance, helical rack and pinion on X and Y, a ball screw on Z. Strokes are 4400 mm (174 in), 1775 mm (70 in) and 350 mm (14 in). X and Y rapid at 80 M/min, Z at 30 M/min, and the maximum rapid traverse is 113 M/min. Two 9 HP Becker vacuum pumps are standard. Net machine weight is 8200 kg (18,100 lbs), which excludes the pumps.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Two moving tables of 1840 x 1600 mm (72.4 x 63 in) for loading one while cutting on the other
- Two 18 HP HSK 63F heads with CNC variable head spacing from 300 to 1800 mm
- M100 tool change look-ahead and safety fences with light barriers are included, not options
- The PRO DUO IPT-TC2 version runs 2 programs at once on a FANUC 31i-MB+
- Two 9 HP Becker pumps as standard, 168 cfm at 24" Hg each
- Automatic tool length touch-off for each spindle
Limitations
- Boring blocks come only on the PRO DUO TC2+D2; the TC2 and IPT-TC2 list none
- Each table is 1840 mm (72.4 in) long, so full-length sheet does not fit on one table
- The 24 HP liquid-cooled spindle, 12-position tool changer and C-axis are optional
- Occupies 6000 x 3375 mm (236 x 133 in) and weighs 8200 kg (18,100 lbs) before the pumps

Frequently Asked Questions
01
All three share the twin tables and two 18 HP router heads. Anderson calls the TC2 the core routing machine. The TC2+D2 adds two 5+5 boring blocks for drilling in the same setup. The IPT-TC2 has a FANUC 31i-MB+ control with Independent Process Technology, so each head can run its own program; the other two use a FANUC 0i-MF+ and run 1 program.
02
Head spacing is CNC controlled from 300 to 1800 mm. Both heads can run in unison on matching parts, or one can cut while the other sits idle. The included M100 look-ahead lets the idle spindle change tools while the active one keeps cutting. Each head has its own 10-position ride-along tool changer and its own tool length touch-off.
03
Two 9 HP Becker pumps are listed, 168 cfm at 24" Hg each, and Anderson states a combined 336 cfm at 24" Hg for standard machines. Each table has 2 M-code controlled vacuum zones, 4 in total. Pump upgrades from Becker, Atlas Copco, Dekker and Travaini are listed.
04
Rapid travel is 80 M/min in X and Y and 30 M/min in Z, with a maximum rapid traverse of 113 M/min. X and Y are driven by helical rack and pinion and Z by a ball screw. Spindle speed ranges from 1,000 to 22,000 RPM.
05
A FANUC 0i-MF+ with a PC front end on the TC2 and TC2+D2, and a FANUC 31i-MB+ with a PC front end on the IPT-TC2. The operator interface is Anderson's AG-MVP with a handheld pendant. Anderson says every model accepts standard G-code from any CAD/CAM package.
