How much does the Anderson Selexx 512 TC+D cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Anderson Selexx 512 TC+D that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Anderson Selexx 512 TC+D is the longest Selexx: a 3750 mm (147”) by 1550 mm (61”) table for 5 x 12 sheet, 4 vacuum zones and an X stroke of 3880 mm (152”). Y stroke is 1835 mm (72”) and Z stroke 250 mm (9.84”). At 5,000 Kg (11,000 lbs.) it is also the heaviest of the three.
Compared with the Selexx 510, the 512 adds length and one more vacuum zone on the same width. The extra zone is useful beyond 12 ft material. A table with 4 zones can hold two shorter blanks end to end, or a single small panel at one end with the other zones shut.
Length also makes better use of the X drive. X rapid is 80 m/min, Y is 60 m/min and the maximum rapid traverse is 100 m/min. Over 3880 mm of stroke the gantry has room to reach those rates on the long moves between nests, and the ride-along tool changer means a tool change does not send the head back to a fixed rack. Anderson credits that arrangement with removing up to 500 unnecessary rapid traverses per shift.
The head carries a spindle listed at 12 HP / 18 HP and 22,000 rpm on HSK-63, a changer for 8 / 10 tools and a 5+5 or 10+7 boring block. For a 12 ft machine that is a modest tool count, so jobs with many cutters should be checked against it. The control is FANUC 0i. Vacuum pumps of 10, 25 or 40 HP are listed, and with this much table the larger sizes are worth pricing. Automatic loading, an offload pusher/sweeper, CNC label placement, a bar-code reader, reverse air flow and a C-axis are optional.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 3750 mm (147”) table length for 5 x 12 sheet on a 1550 mm (61”) width
- 4 vacuum zones, one more than the Selexx 510
- 3880 mm (152”) of X stroke at an 80 m/min X rapid
- Aggregate capability and a ride-along tool changer on the gantry
- Automatic loading, offload pusher/sweeper and CNC label placement can be added
Limitations
- Tool changer holds 8 / 10 tools, the same as the smallest Selexx
- Heaviest of the range at 5,000 Kg (11,000 lbs.)
- Z stroke of 250 mm (9.84”) is the same on every size; a longer bed does not bring more height
- Spindle tops out at 22,000 rpm and 18 HP

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The table is 3750 mm (147”) long and 1550 mm (61”) wide, which suits 5 x 12 material. X stroke is 3880 mm (152”) and Y stroke 1835 mm (72”). The Selexx 510 is the shorter alternative, with a 3100 mm (122”) table on the same width.

4. Anderson describes the multizone table as standard and says it automatically activates the correct vacuum zones for different sheet or part sizes. The vacuum pump is listed in 10, 25 or 40 HP sizes and is chosen at order; reverse air flow is an option.
03
A spindle listed at 12 HP / 18 HP with a maximum speed of 22,000 rpm and HSK-63 clamping. The ride-along tool changer is listed as 8 / 10 and the boring block as 5+5 or 10+7. A C-axis is optional, and Anderson lists aggregate capability among the key features of the range.
04
5,000 Kg (11,000 lbs.), against 4,600 Kg (10,132 lbs.) for the Selexx 510 and 3,200 Kg (7,055 lbs.) for the Selexx 48. Plan rigging and the floor for that load plus the vacuum pump, which is a separate unit of 10, 25 or 40 HP.
