Accurl SMART Giant X 15001.30L

At 15,100 mm (594.5 in) by 3,100 mm (122 in), the Accurl SMART Giant X 15001.30L has the largest work area among the standard models of Accurl's XXL laser line. Accurl names heavy steel construction and shipbuilding as the industries the line was developed for.

A bed of this length is best thought of as several workstations served by one gantry. Plates can be laid down, cut and cleared in sequence along the bed while the laser keeps working, which is how Accurl describes large-format cutting: cutting and loading or offloading at the same time on separate sections of the table. The more sections there are, the less the machine waits for the crane.

Nothing in the performance rows changes with length. Traverse speed is up to 49,500 mm/min, positioning accuracy and repeatability are ± 0.05 mm, the table takes 750 kg/m² and the gantry is the steel crossbeam used across the line. Laser sources go up to 60 kW. In copper the thickness table shows 15 mm (0.59 in) at every listed power from 12 kW to 30 kW, a reminder that more power does not help equally in every material.

The footprint is the commitment: approximately 20,930 mm (824 in) in length, 5,475 mm (215.6 in) in width and 2,900 mm (114.2 in) in height with peripherals. Beds longer than this standard model are built from 3,000 mm or 6,000 mm segments, up to a maximum of 42,900 mm.
