Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Accurl eB-1235 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At 35 ton and 1,250 mm (49.2 in), the Accurl eB-1235 is the second size of Accurl's electric series and the first that is more than a small-parts machine. It is a servo-electric press brake with ball screw drive and no hydraulics.
Compared with the smallest model it is a more usable machine all round. Daylight grows to 420 mm (16.5 in) and stroke to 140 mm (5.5 in), where the eB-0825 has 370 mm (14.6 in) and 100 mm (3.9 in). Throat depth is 260 mm (10.2 in). Speeds drop only slightly, to 180 mm/s on approach and 180 mm/s on return.
The throat is the figure to weigh. Accurl lists the eB-1340 with almost the same bending length and a throat depth of 400 mm (15.7 in). If the parts are narrow enough to pass between the frames, the 260 mm (10.2 in) throat never comes into play; if wide blanks with deep flanges are common, it will.
Bending speed is adjustable over 0.2-50 mm/s. A wide range like that lets the operator slow right down for large panels that whip, then run small parts quickly.
Series equipment, as Accurl lists it, includes a DELEM DA66T control, a BGA-4 backgauge, CNC wave crowning and a tool kit with a 4 V die and 835mm punches.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 1,250 mm (49.2 in) bending length with 35 ton
- 180 mm/s approach and return
- 140 mm (5.5 in) stroke, against 100 mm (3.9 in) on the eB-0825
- Servo and ball screw drive with reduced dwell time, per Accurl
Limitations
- Throat depth of 260 mm (10.2 in), well short of the 400 mm (15.7 in) on the eB-1340
- 35 ton restricts material thickness
- No machine weight, power or footprint in the catalogue table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
35 ton capacity, 1,250 mm (49.2 in) bending length, 420 mm (16.5 in) daylight, 140 mm (5.5 in) stroke and 260 mm (10.2 in) throat depth. Approach and return speed are both 180 mm/s.
02
The eB-1340 has 40 ton, 1,300 mm (51.2 in) of length and a 400 mm (15.7 in) throat, and approaches at 190 mm/s. This model has 35 ton, 1,250 mm (49.2 in) and a 260 mm (10.2 in) throat. Daylight and stroke are the same.
03
The catalogue gives a bending speed range of 0.2-50 mm/s. The low end suits large or delicate panels and the high end short, stiff parts; approach and return are fixed at 180 mm/s.
04
No. The drive uses two ball screws with two servo motors and helical gearboxes. Accurl's list of advantages includes no hydraulic oil or hydraulic filter and no valves or cylinders.
