Overview
The Durma AD-Servo 40220 is the four-metre starting point of the hybrid press brake series, with 220 ton spread over a bending length of 4,050 mm (159.4 in). It suits long parts in sheet and medium plate, where length matters more than force.
Between the columns the opening is 3,600 mm (141.7 in). A full three-metre sheet therefore passes through the frame and can be bent as deep as the back gauge reaches, without touching the 450 mm (17.7 in) throat. That single dimension is often the real reason to choose a four-metre machine for three-metre work.
This is a fast machine for its length. The working speed is 12 mm/sec, the rapid approach 200 mm/sec and the return 180 mm/sec, the same beam speeds as the AD-Servo 30220. Motor power is 11 x 2 kW with 80 x 2 L of oil, the pumps being driven by servomotors only while the beam moves.
