We do not have a price for the You Ji HMC800 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The You Ji HMC800 moves the HMC series into a heavier class. Spindle motor power rises to 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp), speed comes down to 6,000 rpm, and the 800 x 800 mm (31.5 x 31.5 in) table takes 1,500 kg (3,307 lb).
More power at lower speed means torque. This horizontal machining center is set up for large face mills and boring tools in iron and steel on a BT-50 spindle, where the HMC500 and HMC630 run 8,000 rpm with a lighter motor.
It is also the first size with real height. Y-axis travel is 1,000 mm (39.4 in), up from 750 mm (29.5 in) on the HMC630, alongside 1,300 mm (51.2 in) of X and 1,200 mm (47.2 in) of Z. A tall tombstone or a large single housing can be covered top to bottom, and machine height grows accordingly to 3,660 mm (144.1 in).
Where does it stop? The HMC800 is the last model in the series without a W-axis. Deep bores that need an extending quill start with the HMC1000, which also gives up spindle speed for it at 3,500 rpm. For work that is milling first and boring second, the HMC800 is the largest size that keeps 6,000 rpm. It is offered with a B-axis rotary table (B) or with rotary table and automatic pallet changer (BP), on 5,250 x 4,460 mm (206.7 x 175.6 in) of floor.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) spindle motor on BT-50 tooling
- 1,000 mm (39.4 in) Y-axis travel for tall fixtures
- 1,500 kg (3,307 lb) table load on an 800 x 800 mm (31.5 x 31.5 in) table
- Largest HMC size that runs at 6,000 rpm
- B and BP (pallet changer) builds
Limitations
- 6,000 rpm is slower than the 8,000 rpm of the HMC500 and HMC630
- No W-axis on this size, so there is no boring quill
- Machine height of 3,660 mm (144.1 in)
- Table load is half that of the HMC1000 at 3,000 kg (6,614 lb)

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The spindle and the height. The HMC800 has a 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) motor at 6,000 rpm and 1,000 mm (39.4 in) of Y travel. The HMC630 has 15/18.5 kW (20.1/24.8 hp) at 8,000 rpm and 750 mm (29.5 in) of Y.
02
X-axis travel 1,300 mm (51.2 in), Y-axis travel 1,000 mm (39.4 in), Z-axis travel 1,200 mm (47.2 in). There is no W-axis on this model.
03
The table is 800 x 800 mm (31.5 x 31.5 in) with a maximum load of 1,500 kg (3,307 lb). It is a B-axis rotary table, and the BP build adds an automatic pallet changer.
