Price estimate
We do not have a price for the You Ji HMC2500 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
At the top of You Ji's HMC series, the HMC2500 is a horizontal machining center with a 15,000 kg (33,069 lb) table load, a 2,600 x 2,200 mm (102.4 x 86.6 in) table and 3,400 mm (133.9 in) of X-axis travel.
It is the only model in the series whose Z-axis travel reaches 2,000 mm (78.7 in). Add the 700 mm (27.6 in) W-axis and the spindle can work deep into a large enclosure, or back away far enough to index a long part on the B-axis rotary table. That depth is the practical difference from the HMC2000. Y-axis travel is 1,800 mm (70.9 in) on both.
The weight rating matters as much. A step from 10,000 kg (22,046 lb) to 15,000 kg (33,069 lb) covers large diesel engine blocks, turbine and gearbox casings, and heavy fabricated frames that the HMC2000 cannot take.
One thing does not scale. The spindle motor is 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) at 3,500 rpm on BT-50, exactly as on the HMC1600, a machine with roughly half the load rating. Cycle time on very large parts will be set by that motor. Plan the building around the machine as well: floor space is 9,670 x 6,720 mm (380.7 x 264.6 in), much longer than the HMC2000, and height is 4,780 mm (188.2 in).

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- 15,000 kg (33,069 lb) table load, the highest in the HMC series
- 2,000 mm (78.7 in) Z-axis travel plus 700 mm (27.6 in) of W
- 3,400 mm (133.9 in) X-axis travel over a 2,600 x 2,200 mm (102.4 x 86.6 in) table
- 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) spindle motor on BT-50 tooling
Limitations
- Spindle motor is no larger than on the HMC1600
- Y-axis travel of 1,800 mm (70.9 in) matches the HMC2000, so height capacity does not grow
- 9,670 x 6,720 mm (380.7 x 264.6 in) of floor space
- 3,500 rpm maximum spindle speed

Frequently Asked Questions
01
15,000 kg (33,069 lb), on a table of 2,600 x 2,200 mm (102.4 x 86.6 in). It is the largest model listed in the HMC series.
02
X-axis travel 3,400 mm (133.9 in), Y-axis travel 1,800 mm (70.9 in), Z-axis travel 2,000 mm (78.7 in) and W-axis travel 700 mm (27.6 in).
03
No. It is a BT-50 spindle at 3,500 rpm with a 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp) motor, the same figures the HMC1600 and HMC2000 show. The HMC2500 adds travel and load, not cutting power.
04
Floor space is 9,670 x 6,720 mm (380.7 x 264.6 in) and machine height 4,780 mm (188.2 in). For comparison the HMC2000 occupies 7,000 x 6,280 mm (275.6 x 247.2 in).
