Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Yawei HLX-2560 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Yawei HLX-2560 is the largest HLX ultra-fast fiber laser, cutting 6,100 x 2,545 mm (240.2 x 100.2 in). It is the one model in the series with a 340 mm (13.4 in) Z stroke and a worktable rated for 3,500 kg (7,716 lb).
Those two figures matter together. A six-metre table at 20 kW is a plate machine as much as a sheet machine, and both the extra Z and the higher table load point that way. Even so, 3,500 kg spread over the full cutting range is a limit to check against the thickest full sheet you intend to load.
Laser power options are 6, 12 or 20 kW, and the maximum X-Y trajectory speed stays at 200 m/min despite the longer beam travel of 6,120 mm (240.9 in). Y stroke is 2,565 mm (101.0 in). Accuracy is quoted at ±0.03 mm (±0.0012 in) for positioning and ±0.02 mm (±0.0008 in) for repositioning.
Installed, the machine occupies 16,000 x 5,800 x 2,300 mm (629.9 x 228.3 x 90.6 in). Inside Yawei's range the nearest alternative is the HLF-2560, which cuts 6,000 x 2,500 mm (236.2 x 98.4 in) at the same 200 m/min and is offered up to 30 kW. The HLX page puts its weight on structure and control upgrades and on connected functions such as remote diagnosis; the HLF page talks about piercing quality on medium-thick sheet. The right choice depends on which of those describes the work.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- Largest HLX cutting range at 6,100 x 2,545 mm (240.2 x 100.2 in)
- Worktable load of 3,500 kg (7,716 lb), the highest in the series
- Z stroke of 340 mm (13.4 in)
- Holds 200 m/min trajectory speed on a six-metre table
- Remote diagnosis, job list and health protection functions
Limitations
- Power stops at 20 kW, while the HLF-2560 lists 6, 12, 20 or 30 kW
- Needs 16,000 x 5,800 x 2,300 mm of floor
- Table load may limit thick plate at full sheet size
- Acceleration and machine weight are not usable or not given in the table

Frequently Asked Questions
01
The cutting range is 6,100 x 2,545 mm (240.2 x 100.2 in), with axis strokes of 6,120 mm (240.9 in) in X, 2,565 mm (101.0 in) in Y and 340 mm (13.4 in) in Z.
02
It has a longer and wider cutting range, a Z stroke of 340 mm (13.4 in) against 300 mm (11.8 in) on the HLX-2040, and a worktable load of 3,500 kg (7,716 lb) against 1,800 kg (3,968 lb). Speed, accuracy and power options are the same.
03
Both list 200 m/min and ±0.03 mm positioning accuracy. The HLF-2560 has a 6,000 x 2,500 mm (236.2 x 98.4 in) cutting range and power options up to 30 kW. The HLX-2560 cuts 6,100 x 2,545 mm (240.2 x 100.2 in) with 6, 12 or 20 kW and adds the connected functions Yawei lists for the HLX.
04
The machine layout dimension is 16,000 x 5,800 x 2,300 mm (629.9 x 228.3 x 90.6 in). That is the longest layout in the HLX series; the HLX-1530 needs 9,300 x 5,000 x 2,300 mm (366.1 x 196.9 x 90.6 in).
