Three ways carry the table of the Vision Wide MN-4023 / MN-4030. Vision Wide describes a wide base with 3 roller sliding ways that improves the load capacity and dynamic accuracy.
A table on two ways is supported at its edges and spans the gap between them like a bridge; a heavy part in the middle bends it. A third way under the centre shortens that span by half. The table can then be made lighter for the same stiffness, or carry more for the same deflection, and it stays flatter as the load moves along the bed.
