How much does the Vision Wide MF-4026 cost?
Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Vision Wide MF-4026 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Vision Wide MF-4026 is a four-metre box way milling machine with a geared head: 4,200 mm (165.4 in) of X, 2,600 mm (102.4 in) of Y, and a 4,200x2,050 mm (165.4x80.7 in) table for 13,000 kg (28,660 lb).
The head is described in two statements. Its Z-axis is at the symmetrical position of the spindle motor, which the maker credits with accuracy and fine, smooth movement. And its gear head uses Japan-made JIS0 gears for high rigidity, high precision and low noise. A motor set on the ram's centreline loads both Z ways equally, so the ram does not twist as it feeds; precise gears pass the torque on without ripple.
The table lists the spindle as 4,000/6,000 rpm(Opt.). That means a 4,000 rpm two-step gear spindle as built and a 6,000 rpm gear spindle as the option. No faster spindle is offered, and none would suit the machine.
Motor power is where the choice lies. The standard is 18.5/22 kW (24.8/29.5 hp); the options are 22/26 kW (29.5/34.9 hp) and 30/37 kW (40.2/49.6 hp). For a 13,000 kg table and the slant-beam structure, the largest is a fair match.
Rapids are 10 m/min in X and 12 m/min in Y and Z.
