Price estimate
We do not have a price for the SCM Morbidelli M600/800F that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The SCM Morbidelli M600/800F is the high-output pair among the flat-table models: a mobile gantry over an extruded aluminium multi-function work table, moving at a vectorial speed of 127 m/min in X-Y. The Morbidelli M220F, by comparison, is listed at 78 m/min (Pro-Speed) at most.
Nine working areas are offered for both models, from 3650x1600 mm to 6170x2120 mm, with an intermediate Y depth of 1,840 mm (72.4 in). The two models differ in one row only. Z axis panel passage is 250 mm (9.8 in) on the m600 f and 350 mm (13.8 in) on the m800 f, so the choice comes down to how thick the tallest part or fixture stack will be.
The routing unit is rated at up to 17 kW (23 hp) and 24000 rpm. SCM describes its PRISMA 5-axis electrospindle as using a belt transmission, called BEL.TECH, that keeps vibration and heat from the tool away from the motor. The tool changer takes up to 54 places. Drilling capacity is up to 38 independent vertical and 12 independent horizontal spindles at 8000 rpm, with a 125 mm (4.9 in) integrated blade in X and a 160 mm (6.3 in) integrated blade that turns between 0 and 90°.
For automated nesting SCM also offers a "cell" version with lifting table and unloading belt. Safety is handled by bumpers combined with photocells that detect where the operator stands in the loading area, which leaves the table open for alternated loading.

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Only the Z axis panel passage differs in SCM's table: 250 mm (9.8 in) on the m600 f and 350 mm (13.8 in) on the m800 f. Working areas, speeds, routing power, tool places and drilling spindles are listed identically for both.
02
The vectorial speed of the X-Y axes is 127 m/min and the Z axis speed is 30 m/min. The routing unit turns at up to 24000 rpm and the drilling spindles at up to 8000 rpm.
03
Nine X-Y sizes combining X lengths of 3,650 mm (143.7 in), 4,970 mm (195.7 in) and 6,170 mm (242.9 in) with Y depths of 1,600 mm (63.0 in), 1,840 mm (72.4 in) and 2,120 mm (83.5 in).
04
Yes. SCM states the machine is available also in a "cell" version with lifting table and unloading belt. The safety system combines bumpers with photocells that detect the operator's position inside the loading and unloading area.
