Overview
The SCM Accord 25 FXM is the smallest of the Accord machining centers with an aluminium multi-function worktable, a flat table with integrated vacuum and T-grooves in place of bars and pods. It is listed in nine working areas, from 3650x1320x250 mm to 6170x2120x250 mm.
The table type decides the kind of work. Whole sheets of plywood, chipboard or MDF lie flat on it and are held by the direct vacuum system, which is what nesting needs, while the T-grooves take mechanical fixtures for solid wood components. Axis speeds are the modest part of the specification at 60-60-30 m/min. The Accord 40 FXM above it is listed at 90-90-30 m/min (X-Y-Z axes max. speed) and has 350 mm (13.8 in) of Z.
