Price estimate
We do not have a price for the Quaser UX630 that we can stand behind, so we show no number. Configuration, options and installation move the final price a long way: a quote is the reliable figure.
Overview
The Quaser UX630 is a 5-axis machining center for medium-size parts: a Ø480 mm (Ø18.9") table carrying 500 kg (1,102 lbs), a maximum work piece of Ø630 x 600 mm (Ø24.8" x 23.6"), and a B-axis that Quaser gives as +/- 120 degrees.
That B-axis statement and the 900 mm (35.4") X stroke are the two things the maker leads with. A swing of 120 degrees to either side goes well past a right angle, so undercuts and the back faces of impellers or housings can be cut without a second clamping. X is long for the table diameter, which gives the spindle room to follow a part as it tilts away from center.
The 600 mm of work piece height is the largest in Quaser's UX range, and combined with the 500 kg (1,102 lbs) rating it moves the machine out of the small-parts class. An engine block or a tire mold segment, both on Quaser's application list, is a realistic load here.
Z travel is 610 mm (24.0"). The 40 taper spindle is listed at 12K ~ 18K, and the magazine carries 48 tools as standard, each up to 300 mm (11.8") long. Quaser also mentions two maintenance points: the centralized lubrication and air pressure plate are placed for easy access, and chips discharge directly through a conveyor under the machine table.

Strengths & Limitations
Strengths
- B-axis of +/- 120 degrees, as stated by Quaser
- 500 kg (1,102 lbs) table load, the highest table rating in the UX range
- Work pieces up to Ø630 x 600 mm (Ø24.8" x 23.6")
- 900 mm (35.4") of X travel and 610 mm (24.0") of Z
- 48 tools as standard with a spindle listed at 12K ~ 18K
Limitations
- No rotary speed or accuracy figure accompanies the B-axis range
- Spindle power and torque are not published
- No pallet changer on this model; the UX630APC adds one with a lower 400 kg (882 lbs) rating
- Tool diameter is limited to 76.2 mm (3") with a full magazine

Frequently Asked Questions
01
Quaser states the UX630 has a B-axis of +/- 120 degrees, together with a 900 mm (35.4") X-axis working stroke. The spec table itself does not list rotary axis figures, so rotary speeds and accuracy have to be requested.
02
Up to Ø630 x 600 mm (Ø24.8" x 23.6") and 500 kg (1,102 lbs). The table is Ø480 mm (Ø18.9") and the maximum swing is Ø630 mm (Ø24.8").
03
A 40 taper spindle listed at 12K ~ 18K and a 48-position magazine as standard. Tools may be 76.2 mm (3") in diameter, 125 mm (4.9") with neighboring pots empty, and 300 mm (11.8") long.
04
The UX630APC adds an automatic pallet changer with a □500 mm (□19.7") pallet. The UX630APC's listed limits are lower: 400 kg (882 lbs) and Ø630 x 480 mm (Ø24.8" x 18.9"), against 500 kg (1,102 lbs) and Ø630 x 600 mm (Ø24.8" x 23.6") on the UX630.
